Eligibility criteria
Candidates must satisfy the below eligibility criteria before applying admission to bachelor’s programme at YSP University.
- Candidate should have done 10+2/equivalent examination with Physics, English, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/Agriculture from a recognized Board/ University with at least of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category) in the above subjects
- The general seats will be filled through entrance exam conducted by the university for which only bonafide/ domicile candidates of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply.
- The applicants pursuing in 10+2 examination with above subjects may also apply.
- Though, self-financing seats are available for all at National level and will be filled on the basis of merit at 10+2 level plus weightage in co-curricular / sports activities etc
- The applicants applying for self-financing seats are excused from appearing in the entrance exam.
YSP University UG Application Form: How to apply?
YSP University has released the application form for UG programme in online mode. Candidates can fill up the form according to the deadline specified above. The cost of online form for General category will be Rs.1500/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST/PH).
Entrance exam
The entrance examination will be of 100 marks comprising objective type questions (30 questions each carrying one mark in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects and 10 questions carrying one marks will be of general awareness related to Agriculture).
Admission Process
The basis of admission will be merit as decided by the Entrance Test. In case of tie means two or more students obtain the same percentage of marks, the elder in age will be considered for admission.
