About West Bengal Board of Secondary Education

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education is the autonomous body that is administered by the Government and is an authority for conducting class 10th examinations. The examination conducted for class 10th is called Madhyamik Pariksha or is also known as Secondary Examination. The board not only acts as a body of conducting exams but also regulates and supervises it from time to time.

Roles of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education

The examination is responsible for conducting annual examination for class 10th and final examinations for student at school. The exams for class 10th are conducted in the month march and results will be declared in the month of April. The time period is tentative. Students can also check the results online by entering the roll no and entering the date of birth. In addition,  the board is also responsible for devising syllabus for the course and the examinations that fall under its purview.
