Admission to postgraduate courses in the field of engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture offered by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology will be given on the basis of an entrance exam, WBUT PGET 2023. Nationality:

• Only candidates of Indian nationality are eligible to apply.

Qualification:

• A BE/ B.Tech in relevant discipline (as given below), B.Pharma, B.Arch degree, as applicable, or equivalent is required.
• Candidates with M.Sc degree in relevant field can apply too.

WBUT PGET Application Form 2023

The candidates can obtain the application form for WBUT PGET 2023 through online mode. Application form will be released on the official website of the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University www.makautwb.ac.in.

• To obtain the application form, the candidates first need to generate an enrolment id and password.
• For this, they need to fill an enrollment form providing basic details like email address, phone number and a password.
• After successful enrollment, an email and SMS containing the enrollment id and password will be sent to the candidates.
• Using these credentials, the candidates can login to their account and start filling their application form.
• Basic personal and academic details of the candidates will be asked in the application form.
• Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph, signature and sponsored certificate from the present employer (for sponsored candidates only) need to be uploaded into the application form as well.
• Once all the details are entered correctly into the form, it should be submitted by the candidates on or before the last date.
• After submission, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Application fee:

• Along with the application form, the applicants are also required to submit a prescribed amount of application fee.
• The PGET application fee will be Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) and can be paid online using net banking facility or debit card/ credit card.

WBUT PGET Admit Card 2023

• Admit card for the PG entrance exam will be published on the official website of the university.
• The candidates should download their admit card using their application details and should take a printout of the same.
• Hard copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof should be carried by the candidates while reporting to the exam center.
• In the absence of these documents, the applicants will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
• The candidates must note that they will not be sent the admit card through post or courier and can only be downloaded online.

WBUT PGET 2023 Result

• The entrance exam result will be declared online and can be checked by the candidates by visiting the official university website.
• Score card of the candidates will also be released and can be downloaded using the application details.
• A merit list of the candidates on the basis of their score in the entrance exam will be prepared.
• Counseling of the shortlisted candidates will be done according to their names in the merit list.

WBUT PGET Counseling 2023

• Details regarding the counseling for PGET admission will be communicated to the candidates by the university’s website.
• Before attending the counseling, the candidates need to appear for and clear a GD/ PI round.
• Those qualified for counseling should be present for the same along with all their documents in original and photocopy.
• At the time of counseling, the candidates will be asked to provide their choice for course specialization and institute.
• Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their choice and their ranking, subject to the availability of the seats.
