Visva Bharati University admission 2021- How to apply/application form

Candidates can apply for the admission only via online mode. They need to visit the official website of the University for filling the application form of the concerned entrance test/course. They must register themselves for the entrance exam (wherever needed) and fill the application form very carefully. While filling the form, candidates should take proper care as no correction facility will be provided once the form is submitted. Candidates also need to keep the scanned copy of photograph and signature while filling the application form. It is mandatory for the applicants to pay the necessary fee without which their applications will be rejected by the authority. Eligibility criteria for Visva Bharati University admission 2021

For Diploma Courses: Candidate must have passed at least the School certificate examination of Visva-Bharati or its equivalent examination of a recognized University or Board. Those whose first language is other than the language selected for study must have passed the Certificate examination of Visva-Bharati in  the same language or an equivalent examination in the language concerned of a recognized University/ Board/ Institution.

For UG and PG admission:

BA	Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board. The percentage required varies as per the discipline chosen by the candidates.
B.Sc	Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university.
BFA	Candidates should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized university/board.
MA	Candidates should possess a valid bachelor’s degree from a recognized university as per 10+2+3 education pattern. Percentage required varies discipline-wise. Candidates must qualify the admission test conducted by the university.
M.Sc	Candidates should have done B.Sc in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Candidates must qualify the admission test conducted by the university.
MFA	Candidates should have done BFA or its equivalent degree with at least 55% aggregate marks.

For M.Phil and Ph.D course: Candidates should possess a master’s discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent. International applicants need not appear in the admission test meant for admission in M.Phil and Ph.D course. Those who have qualified UGC NET, UGC CSIR NET, SLET, and GATE are exempted from the admission test too.
