Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to go through the eligibility criteria for admission to PhD program at the University of Hyderabad. Let’s have a look on the minimum eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should have a Master’s degree in the related subject with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
- Candidates have completed the final exam till June, 2022 can apply.
- Candidates who have a valid GATE score are also eligible to apply for the exam.
University of Hyderabad PhD admissions 2022 Application Form: How to Apply?
Candidates who are interested to get admission into PhD course offered by the University of Hyderabad are required to download the application form from the official website. Candidates belonging to SC/PWD/ST category are required to pay Rs. 150/- as an application fee and for General and OBC category candidates, this amount is Rs. 350/-. The application fee should be paid by candidates in the form of demand draft and it should be drawn in favour of the ‘Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch (Hyderabad) (Code: 378) or at State Bank of India, HU Campus Branch(Code:5916).
University of Hyderabad PhD admissions 2022 Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates will be on the basis of Interview and written test. Candidates having valid score of JRF/ ICMR/ NBHM/ ICAR/ DBT / MANF / RGNF /DST INSPIRE do not need to appear in the written exam.
