There are two exam medical entrance exams that are conducted namely, UPCMET and UPCPMT. UPCMET- Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test is a state level medical entrance exam that is conducted to grant admission to students in private medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh. UPCMET is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare. UPCPMT is a state level entrance exam that is conducted by Deen Dayal Upadhayay Gorakhpur University for granting admission to medical courses as in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS.
Ranking Criteria of the Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh
Colleges based in Uttar Pradesh are rated on certain parameters that are set by the education council of the state. Parameters set are quality of education, student and faculty ratio, campus infrastructure, affiliations, accreditations, and placement.
