Sainik School Tilaiya was established by the government to prepare students to join Indian armed forces in the future. The school offers new admission in class 6th and 9th. Please note that Sainik School Tilaiya Admission 2022 will be provided based on the entrance exam to be conducted by the Sainik School Society. In addition to this, candidates also need to undergo a medical fitness test.

Sainik School Tilaiya 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to Sainik School Tilaiya are explained below.

Gender

• Only boy candidates are eligible to apply.

Age limit

• For class 6th admission, the age of a boy should be between 10 and 12 years.
• For 9th class admission, the age of a boy should be more than 13 years and less than 15 years.

Educational Qualification

• To get admission into class 9th, the candidate must be studying in class 8th of a recognized school.

The application form for Sainik School Tilaiya Admission 2022 will release online. Interested candidates can access the application form by visiting the official website i.e. www.sainikschooladmission.in.

• The link to an official application form will be available on the homepage of the official website.
• After accessing the form, candidates need to enter their personal, contact and educational qualification details.
• In the next step, applicants have to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
• After entering these details, the candidates are required to pay the necessary application fee.
• The next step after the application fee payment is to upload scanned images of the following documents.
  • Birth Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Caste Certificate
• After that, the candidates may submit the duly filled application form.
• Upon successful submission of the application form, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page for future requirements.

  • General/ Defence category candidates: Rs. 550/-
  • SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 400/-
• A candidate can pay fees online using options like a credit/ debit card or internet banking.

Sainik School Tilaiya 2022 Admit Card

• After the application form submission process gets over, admit cards for the entrance exam will be published on the official website of Sainik School Society.
• To download an admit card, candidates have to enter their registration number and other details.
• It is compulsory for candidates to carry their admit card at the examination center.
• No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• Applicants are advised to keep their admit cards safe until the admission process gets over.

• Maximum Marks: 400 marks
• Duration of Exam: 180 minutes

• Type of Questions: Objective type multiple choice questions

Sainik School Entrance Exam Syllabus 2022

The subject-wise syllabus of Sainik School entrance exam is given below. Please note that the syllabus for class 6th and 9th is different.

For 6th class

• General Knowledge: Living Things & Their Classification, Air, Water & Soil, Non-Living Things, Human Body, etc.
• Intelligence: Basic Reasoning, Series Completion, Analogy Test, etc.
• Mathematics: Number System, Decimals & Fractions, Average, Basic Mathematical Functions, Mensuration, Time & Distance, Basic Geometry, etc.

For 9th class

Result & Medical test

• The result of AISSEE entrance exams will be published online through the Sainik School Society’s website.
• Candidates will be able to check the result by entering their roll numbers.
• As per the marks secured by candidates, the authorities will release a merit list of candidates qualified for the medical exam.
• For the medical exam, candidates have to reach at the hospital as per the schedule decided by the Sainik School Society.
• Those who will clear the medical exam and get their names in the final merit list will be shortlisted for admission.
