The Sainik School Lucknow is one among the 20 sainik schools in India, organized by the Ministry Of Defense, Govt. of India. The admissions to sainik School Lucknow are on the basis of entrance exam scores of the candidates in All India Sainik School Entrance Exam Organized by the Ministry Of Defense Govt. Of India. To apply for sainik School Lucknow, the father of candidate must be a Domicile of Uttar Pradesh State.

For Class VI – Candidates Born between 02 July 2006 and 01 July 2007 are eligible.
For Class IX- Candidates Born between 02 July 2003 to 01 July 2004 are eligible.

Candidates belonging to outside of UP state are Not Eligible to apply for schooling at Sainik School Lucknow. 27% seats are reserved for OBC candidates, 21% are for SC candidates and 01% for ST candidates.
