The Centralized Admissions for M.Tech programmes (CAM) will be conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University. The candidates with or without GATE score can apply for admissions through RTU CAM 2021. Admissions will be offered into different Government aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities). Interested candidates can start submitting their applications in online mode from the month of June 2021. A candidate must ensure their eligibility for admission in various M.Tech/ M.Arch programmes before filling up the application form.

RTU CAM 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The details of the RTU CAM eligibility criteria 2021 are mentioned below:
For M.Tech programme:
- The candidates should have passed their BE/ B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline or its equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.
- A minimum of 55% marks or 6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale (50% marks or 5.75 CGPA on 10 points scale for SC/ ST candidates) is required.
- Candidates with or without GATE score are eligible to apply.
- However, candidates having M.Sc/ MCA should hold a valid GATE score in the relevant branch for admission into M.Tech.

For M.Arch/ M.Plan programme:
- A B.Arch degree from a recognized University/ Institution is required for admissions into M.Arch/ M.Plan programme.
- The candidates should score 50% marks or 5.75 CGPA on 10 points (45% marks or 5.25 CGPA on 10 points scale for SC/ ST candidates) in their B.Arch degree course.
Note:
- Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by MHRD/ UGC/ AIU/ UPSC/ AICTE are also eligible.
- The applicants appearing in their qualifying exam in the year 2021 can apply too.
RTU CAM 2021 Application Form
The candidates can register online for RTU CAM 2021. The application form will be made available on the official of RTU. The initial step before filling the application form will be registration and payment of application fee.
- Candidates will be able to register themselves using their name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth and mobile number.
- After registration, a Challan number will be generated which is used for the application fee payment.
- A transaction ID will be generated after the payment which is mandatory for filling the application form.
- In the application form, personal details, educational details, address details, GATE score details, etc related to the candidates will be asked.
- The applicants will also have to upload the following documents in scanned format in the application form:
- Photograph in jpg format (maximum size 50 KB)
- Signature in jpg format (maximum size 50 KB)
- Valid GATE score card; if qualified (maximum size 300 KB)
- Mark sheet of BE/ B.Tech or equivalent exam
- The candidates after providing all the details correctly into the application form can submit it. No changes in the finally submitted application form will be allowed.
- A printout of the duly filled application form should be taken out by the candidate and kept safe for future use.
Application fee:
- Application fee/ registration fee for CAM will be Rs. 3000/- for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 1500/- for SC/ ST candidates.
- The fee can be submitted online through Billdesk gateway facility using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
- Registration fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-adjustable under any circumstances.
Choice Filling
- The candidates who submit their application successfully will be allowed to participate in the choice filling process.
- Information regarding the available seat will be displayed in seat matrix on the CAM website.
- Candidates are free to fill any number of choices from the list of available seats. However, the choice must be filled in the order of preference.
- The sequence of the choices made can be reordered and choices can be added and deleted before their final locking.
- Applicants after providing all the choices in their desired order can lock the choices. The choices not locked manually will be locked automatically on the last date.
Seat Allotment Process
- The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their merit and the choices provided by them.
- Seat allotment will be done by computer software and the allotment result will be made available on the CAM website.
- Depending on the number of seats, different round of seat allotment will be carried out.
- Candidates who are allotted a seat will have to report to the allotted institute or document verification and college fee submission.
- However, in case the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he/ she does not need to report to the allotted institute.
- Such candidates will have to submit the seat surrender form and also submit his/her consent online after which they will be considered for next round of allotment.
- Those who are not allotted a seat in the first round will also be considered for the next round.
RTU CAM 2021 Admission Procedure
- Candidates who are allotted a seat must physically report to the institute to complete the admission formalities.
- A provisional allotment letter should be downloaded on the CAM website and carried to the allotted institute.
- All the other important documents must also be carried by the candidates for verification.
- After verification of documents, the candidates will have to submit the tuition and other fees as applicable.
- Admission of the candidates will be final only after completion of these formalities.
- The candidates can surrender their seat even after their admission to the allotted institute.
- In this case, the candidates will have to submit the seat surrender form to the last allotted institute and also submit his/ her consent online.
- The candidate will get the refund from the allotted institute with the deductions of processing fee and administrative expenses.

The following documents in original as well as their photocopies must be carried to the allotted institute. The original documents will be returned to the candidates after verification.

- Class X Board Certificate as proof of date of birth
- Mark sheet of Class XII

- Domicile certificate
- Qualified and valid GATE score card, if any

- Undertaking by OBC/ SBC in required format, if applicable

- Conversion certificate for converting CGPA to percentage from the university from where undergraduate degree was earned
