Eligibility Criteria for ITI Punjab 2022
It is important for the candidate to check the eligibility criteria carefully before filling the application form. The conducting body has laid down some eligibility norms for different traits which candidate has to satisfy in order to participate in the Punjab ITI counselling process. The details about Punjab ITI Admission eligibility criteria are given below:
- Candidates must be a resident of Punjab State
- Candidates should have passed qualifying examination required for admission in trade from the recognized school and board.
- The minimum age to apply will be 14 years
Eligibility for Engineering & Non-Engineering Trades
- Candidate must have passed 8th/10th class Examination (wherever applicable) under 10+2 examination system or equivalent.
Eligibility for SCVT Trades:
For Art & Craft Teacher Training course:
Aspirants should have completed 10th examination under 10+2 system and must have studied Drying/ Painting Subject in 8th class/ 10th class or 10+2 class
Or
Candidate should have studied fine art/ commercial arts in 10+2/ B.A. or M.A. classes.
For Punjabi Stenography
Candidate should have completed 10th examination under 10+2 system with Punjabi as compulsory subject in 10th class.
For Cutting Sewing and Embroidery Teacher Training Course
Applicants should have done 10th class examination under 10+2 systems with NTC certificate of Cutting & Sewing or Fashion Technology or Dress Making or BBBT in Apparel sector under CoE scheme and NTC certificate of Embroidery or Hair & Skin Care or Fruit & Vegetable Preservation/ Fruit Processing Trade.
Reservation Criteria
There will be reservation of 85% seats for the candidates belonging to Punjab State whereas 15% seats will be open for candidates from other State.
Punjab ITI Admission Application Form 2022
Aspirants willing to apply for the trades offered by ITI Punjab should complete the registration and application process as per the prescribed schedule. Before filling in the Registration Form, candidates are advised to must read the instructions carefully and also go through the eligibility conditions. Candidates can fill the application form online by logging on to the official website link i.e. http://itipunjab.nic.in. Provide all the details required in the form correctly. Candidate should submit the duly filled application form before the due date.
Counselling Procedure for Punjab ITI
- It is important for the candidates to register themselves on the counselling portal in order to participate in the e-counselling procedure.
- During registration, candidates have to provide all the required information correctly.
- Thereafter, candidate need to take the printout of filled registration form and carry the same to the nearest DI along with the important documents for verification process.
- Once the verification of all documents has been done, candidate will be considered eligible for Choice filling.
- Seats will be allotted to the candidates according to the choices they have filled in the form.
Punjab ITI Admission process 2022
Admission will be solely made on the basis of candidate’s merit and their category. The allotment of seat is entirely provisional. Once the seat is allotted, candidate has to take printout of their provisional allotment letter and visit the nearest D.I/P.I for confirming the admission and completing the rest of the admission formalities.
