PU CET 2022 (UG & BHMS)- Result, Merit List, Admission Procedure

PU CET 2022 (UG & BHMS)- Panjab University is conducting PU CET (UG & BHMS) entrance for admission to B. Pharmacy (Credit Based Semester System), BHMS at Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh and B.Sc. (Hons. School) at P.U. Campus.

Please read necessary instructions before you apply for the test. Online registration process for PU CET UG BHMS entrance test may start from April 2022.

PU CET 2022 (UG & BHMS) Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who have cleared or appearing in 10+2 examination from Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent exam organized by a board/council/university are eligible.

• Candidates those are having compartment in 10+2 exam organized in March, 2017 are not eligible for admission through PU CET UG.
• Aspirants those have cleared/appeared in class 12^th examination from Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are not allowed to apply for PU CET UG 2022.

Procedure of Online Registration

• Registration process will be done from the official web portal of Panjab University.
• Candidates are advised to note down their login ID and password.
• Now you need to download SBI slip and then make payment at any SBI branch.
• Upload signature, photograph and other necessary information on website.
• Registration Fee- For General category (Rs.1760/- and for SC/ST/Blind category (Rs.880/-).

Exam Pattern

• Major subjects involved in the exam are Physics (Paper I), Chemistry (Paper II), Biology (Paper III), Mathematics (Paper IV), Biotechnology (Paper V) and Computer Science (Paper VI).
• 70 minutes of time will be given for each paper.
• 2 marks will be given for every correct response.
• ½ marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
• Language mode of the paper will be English only.

Candidates are required to choose a suitable combination of courses as per the preferred course. Possible Combinations are mentioned as below:

Candidates can download their PU CET (UG & BHMS) 2022 admit card in May, 2022 with using Login id & Password. Further updates on admit card will be notified to you through this section.

PU CET 2022 ((UG & BHMS) Result & Merit List

Result card of candidates can be only downloaded from official portal of Panjab University. No individual admit card will be issued to candidates. Merit list of PU CET UG will be declared for following combinations of subjects:

• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
• Physics, Chemistry and Biology
• Physics, Chemistry and Computer Sciences
• Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology
• Mathematics only

Candidates who have secured minimum 15% marks (10% for SC/ST/BC/Blind candidates) in the test taken will be only enlisted in the merit list. Weightage will be given in following ways:

• Qualifying exam (+2): 25%
• PU CET (UG) entrance test: 75%
