People & Education Society (PES University), Bangalore is responsible for organizing the PESSAT exam every year. PESSAT officially known as the People’s Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test is a university-level entrance exam for admission to UG & PG courses in various fields such as Management, Engineering, Hospitality, etc.
Candidates will be selected based on their PESSAT test score as well as their performance in the personal interview round. Selected candidates get enrolled at different campuses of PES University. The university will also accept scores of other national/ state-level exams such as CAT, UCEED, JEE Mains, CLAT, GRE, LSAT, NATA, etc.

PESSAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates should check the PESSAT eligibility criteria before applying for PESSAT exam. The details regarding the PESAAT 2024 eligibility criteria are mentioned below.

| B.Tech courses | Should have passed the 10+2 with a minimum of 50% or equivalent in the science stream from a recognized board |
| B.Arch | Should have passed the 10+2 with a minimum of 50% or equivalent in the science stream from a recognized board |
| MBA Courses | Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or institute to apply for the exam with no less than 50% marks. Candidates with the scores of MAT, PGCET, CMAT, GMAT, CAT, and GRE will be accepted for direct admission. |
| MCA | Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in BCA or equivalent with 50% marks will be allowed to appear in the exam. |
PESSAT Application Form
The application form for PESSAT 2024 will be released online mode only. It is expected that the application form will be released in October 2024 for PG & UG courses.
Interested and eligible candidates have to fill out the PESSAT application form within the prescribed schedule and appear in the exam. Candidates will have to provide basic details like name, contact number, qualification details, and other details in the application form.
After filling out all the required details, candidates need to upload their scanned image of a passport-size photograph and signature.
Candidates have to pay the application fee as per the choice of course.
Verify the details carefully before submitting the application form. Candidates should take the hard copy of the application form for further admission process.
PESSAT Application Fee
The PESSAT application fee will be Rs 1150/-. The payment of the application fee will be made through online as well as offline modes. Online payment can be made via credit card/debit card or net banking. For offline fee submission, candidates will be able to use challan or demand draft service.

PESSAT Syllabus 2024
The authority will publish the syllabus for the PESSAT exam 2024 in pdf format on the official website. The PESSAT syllabus will be different for all the UG & PG courses. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus of the specified course for which they are applying and then prepare accordingly. Candidates can the detailed PESSAT syllabus on the PES official website.
PESSAT Slot Booking 2024 & Admit Card
The slot booking process for PESSAT Exam 2024 will be commenced in June 2024 (tentatively). Candidates who want to appear in the PESSAT exam need to book an exam slot as per his/her choice from the available slots. Only after booking a slot, applicants will be issued the PESSAT admit card.
Candidates need to download the PESSAT Admit card from the official link by providing their application number and password. The PESSAT Hall ticket will comprise details like PESSAT examination centre, exam date and time, PESSAT exam instructions etc. Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre on the day of the exam.
PESSAT Result 2024
The University will announce the PESSAT Result online in June 2024. Candidates can check the result by login to the official website using their login credentials. The PESSAT result will include the details like total marks scored in the exam, the candidate’s qualifying status, PESSAT merit rank etc. Qualified candidates will be invited for the further counselling process.
PESSAT Counselling 2024
It is expected that the PESSAT 2024 Counselling process for B.Tech courses will be commenced in June 2024. Only qualified candidates whose names are appeared on the merit list will be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
During the counselling, candidates will have to provide their choices of specialization and campus. The seats will be allotted among the candidates based on scores in the PESSAT exam. After the seat allotment process, candidates need to pay the seat confirmation fees online to confirm their admission.

The cutoff rank for PESSAT 2024 is expected to be 1023 for B.Tech (CSE) and 4994 for ECE programme.
