Candidates will be selected for admission to the different courses offered at the PES University on the basis of PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) followed by an interview conducted on the same day. Interested candidates can apply for this exam through online mode. The computer based online exam is going to be held according to the schedule provided below. PESSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

For undergraduate program:

• B.Tech: A pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biotechnology and at least 60% marks in aggregate is required.
• BBA, BBA-HEM, B.Com: Applicants who have passed their class 12th exam in any stream are eligible.
• B.Des: The candidates should have cleared their class 12th exam or hold a 3-year diploma with English as a compulsory subject and no less than 50% marks in aggregate.
• BA LLB, BBA LLB: Candidates need to clear their class 12th exam in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST candidates) in aggregate.
• B.Arch: The applicants with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and overall in their class 12th exam or Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible. 50% score in NATA/ JEE Main paper 2 is also required.

For postgraduate program:

• MCA: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as a mandatory subject and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required.
• MBA: The applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline scoring no less than 60% aggregate marks are eligible.
• M.Tech: Candidates holding a BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate can apply.
• LLM: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law from any recognized college in India.

PESSAT Application Form 2022

PESSAT application form 2022 can be obtained in online mode by visiting the official website of the university www.pes.edu. The candidates should keep the important details ready before they proceed with the application process.

• Candidates should first register themselves by providing basic details like name, course name, gender, date of birth, email id, etc.
• After that, the candidates will be asked to provide other details such as category, religion, mother tongue, place of birth, address, qualifying exam board, marks scored, test center preference, etc.
• Scanned copies of photograph of the candidates should also be uploaded in the application form.
• The next step will be the payment of a prescribed amount of application fee.
• Upon successful completion of the registration process, the candidates should take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future use.

Mode of payment:

• Candidates can make payment of the application fee through online mode using credit card/ debit card/ net banking or offline mode using demand draft.
• In case of fee payment via DD, details of the draft and bank should be entered online and the DD should be sent to the Office of Admissions at PES University Ring Road campus along with a printout of the application form through courier.

PESSAT 2022 Slot Booking

• Successfully registered candidates can book their slot for the entrance exam and interview.
• The slot can be booked using the registration number generated after successful registration and the registered email id.
• After the slot booking is done, the admit card with detailed instructions will be available for print.
• Once the exam slot is booked, no changes will be allowed under any circumstances.

PESSAT Admit Card 2022

• Candidates will be able to download their admit card by visiting the official website of the university.
• A printout of the admit card should be taken after downloading to be carried to the exam center on day of exam.
• The candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall in case of absence of a valid admit card.
• Candidates must preserve the admit card even after the exam is over as it will be required at the time of admission as well.
• To protect the admit card from loss or damage, the candidates should keep multiple copies of the same.

PESSAT 2022 Result

• The authorities will declare the result of the entrance exam and interview through online mode.
• The result can be checked by visiting the official website of the university on the specified date.
• Candidates who score more than the prescribed cut-off marks will be considered as qualified.
• On the basis of their marks in the entrance exam, merit list of the qualified candidates will be drawn. Separate merit lists will be prepared for different courses.
• Counseling of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted as per their names in the merit list.

PESSAT 2022 Counseling

• Candidates should report for the counseling as per the schedule intimated through the university’s website.
• During counseling, documents of the candidates will be verified and therefore they should carry all the documents in original with them.
• After successful verification, the candidates will be asked to provide their choice for course specialization.
• Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their merit and choice based on the availability of seat.

PESSAT FAQs 2022

Can I apply for more than one course in PESSAT?

You can register for any number of programs in PESSAT given that you meet the minimum eligibility. Candidates registering for multiple courses should use different email id every time. The same email id cannot be used to register for multiple courses.

How can I book my slot for PESSAT exam and online interview?

Candidates who have registered to PESSAT can reserve their interview date and time by booking their slot. It will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Using your registration number and email address you can book interview date and time.

In case I forgot my registration number, how can I recover it?

You can go to the official PESSAT website and click on the Forgot Registration No link. On the page that appears provide your name, email id, gender and date of birth and click on the Login button. You will be logged into your account where you can find your registration number.

Is there any gateway other than PESSAT to apply for PES University admission?

Besides PESSAT, the test scores of KCET, UCEED, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE and select other National level exams will also be considered for PES admission.

What if I am unable to appear for the counseling in the given time period?

It is mandatory that you appear for the counseling as per the schedule decided by the authorities. Failure to do so can lead you to lose your seat and forfeit your candidature.
