Patna University UG Admission: Applications will be invited by Patna University for admission to various undergraduate courses through a common entrance test for the academic session 2021-22. Candidates seeking admission to B.Com (Hons)/BA (Hons) / B.Sc (Hons)-Maths Group/B.Sc (Hons) Bio Group in the Constituent Colleges under Patna University are needed to appear in the Patna University common entrance test (PUCET).

Eligibility criteria

Candidates need to satisfy the prescribed eligibility before applying for PUCET. The eligibility criteria for PUCET 2020 are as follows:

For B.A. (Hons.):

Candidates should have done the Intermediate examination in the subject for (Hons.) or have cleared the Intermediate examination in Commerce or Science with at least 45% marks in the aggregate.

For B.Sc (Hons.):

Applicants should have cleared Intermediate Examination in the subject offered for Honors study with scoring no less than 45% marks in the aggregate.

B.Com (Hons):

Applicants should have done the Intermediate examination in commerce with scoring a minimum of 45% marks in the commerce subject.

Or

Those who have completed the Intermediate examinations in Arts or Science will also be considered eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) course if he/ she have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate at the I.Sc Exam or I.A.

Patna University Common Eligibility Test 2021 Application Form: How to apply

The application form for PUCET will be available online. Candidates who want to apply for PUCET can fill the online application form by visiting the official website of Patna University. Before starting application fill-up process, candidates are advised to keep ready the required details and scanned image files of the following documents:

• Recent passport size colored photograph as per the given format
• Candidate’s signature (as per the given specifications)
• Access to an online payment facility /service such as Net Banking / Credit card /ATM -cum-Debit card

If you are unable to pay the application fee through online mode, then you are also allowed to make the payment in cash at any branch of Allahabad Bank through the Challan downloaded from the Entrance Test website.

Selection Process

Admissions of candidates will be done in all the above said UG courses on the basis of their score obtained in the Patna University Common Eligibility Test (PUCET).

Note: PUCET for BA (Hons) /PUCET for B.Com (Hons) /PUCET for B.Sc (Hons)-Maths Group and PUCET for B.Sc (Hons) Bio Group will be held on different dates at various Centers in Patna.
