OUAT 2023 Application Form: How to apply?
Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully, before filling the online application form. Some important points related OUAT online application process is listed below:
- Candidates will get the application form only through online mode.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to possess a valid Aadhaar card to fill the OUAT 2023 application form.
- Candidates need to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph and full signature as per the specifications.
- Once you have completed the application process, a login ID and password and application number will be sent via email or SMS.
- There is no need to send the hard copy of the application form to the university.
Application Fee:
- For PG Courses: Rs. 1400/-
- For UG Courses: Rs. 1500/-
Payment of the said application fee can be done through debit/credit card and net banking. Moreover, candidates can also pay the fee in cash through Common Service Centre (Jana Seva Kendra).

OUAT 2023 Syllabus
Candidates should go through the syllabus carefully and prepare for the exam as per the prescribed syllabus. Basically, the OUAT syllabus will cover the subjects studied in the qualifying exam.
For Postgraduate courses, the syllabus will contain the topics from the relevant field. For Undergraduate courses, the syllabus will comprise of chemistry, physics, and mathematics/biology subjects.
OUAT Admit Card
The authority will release the admit card through the online mode only. Candidates who registered successfully will be able to download the OUAT 2023 admit card from the official website by using their login details.
It is mandatory for the candidates to bring the downloaded admit card along with one ID proof at the exam centre on the day of exam. Without a valid OUAT Admit card, candidates will not be permitted to write in the exam.
OUAT Result
The result for OUAT will be announced in online mode only. Candidates can check and download their result/scorecard from the official website by submitting their login credentials.
The result will comprise of total marks, provisional and final weightage etc. After the announcement of result, a merit list will be prepared for the candidates to participate in the counselling process.
OUAT Selection Procedure
For Undergraduate Programme
There will be a common entrance exam conducted for aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. (Forestry), B.Sc.(Ag), B. Sc. (Horticulture), B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc., B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.) and B.Sc.(Home Science) programmes. Merit of candidates will be calculated based on their academic career performance, entrance exam and extracurricular activities.
Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Forestry) programme they need to appear for Physical Endurance Test which will be conducted one day before the notified date of counselling.
For Postgraduate and Doctoral Programme
Selection procedure for various postgraduate programmes excluding M.Sc. Biotechnology, Microbiology, & Computer Science will be based on candidates’ performance in entrance exam and their career marks. Admission to M.Sc. Biotechnology, Microbiology, & Computer Science will be solely based on candidates’ career marks.
Admission Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear in counselling process according to the merit list. The process of OUAT counselling 2023 will be organized a few days after the result declaration.
To participate in the counselling candidates have to fill the online form and submit their required documents. Seats will be allotted as per the merit list, category, filled choices, and seats availability.
After the seat allotment, candidates have to report to their respective department to complete the further admission formalities.
