OJEE Counselling 2023 will be started few days after the publication of its result. There is a probability that OJEE counselling process will start from June 2023 onwards. The actual date for commencing the counselling process is yet to be announced by the authority. This year, OJEE is conducting for aspirants seeking admission to various professional courses including first-year degree courses in Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/Pharmacy; first-year MBA, MCA, M Tech./ M Pharm/ M Arch./ M Plan programmes; 5 years of integrated MBA programme and Lateral entry programmes such as MCA/Pharmacy/Engineering/Technology. Candidates will be given admission to B.Tech programme based on their performance in JEE Main and MBBS & BDS admission will be done through NEET score.
As counselling process is commencing soon, therefore candidates need to collect all possible information related to this.

OJEE Counselling Procedure 2023
Following steps are included under counselling procedure for Orissa Joint Entrance Examination:
Step 1: Register Yourself for Counselling
Candidates, based on their scores in OJEE or any other national level test, are required to register themselves for attending the counselling procedure. The registration process can be done by following the official portal of the authority i.e. ojee.nic.in. Upon completion of the registration procedure, candidates will receive their login credentials.
Step 2: Fill your Choice of Colleges/Courses
This is another most important step candidates need to accomplish very genuinely. Successful aspirants are advised to fill the maximum number of their choices. Once you filled all of your preferred choices then you need to lock the same.
Step 3: Report to the Nodal Centre for Document Verification and Fee Payment Procedure
Upon completion of counselling registration and choice filling, candidates need to report at one of the designed nodal centres for document verification and fee payment procedure.
Counselling Fee
- For OJEE applicants: Rs.450/-
- For Non-OJEE applicants: Rs.950/-
Step 4: Seats Allotment (Provisional)
According to candidates’ filled choice and their rank, the provisional allotment is held. The result of provisional seat allotment will be made available at official portal of OJEE and it will be also intimated to candidates through SMS.
Step 5: Withdrawn Procedure
Suppose, suddenly you decided not to attend further counselling procedure then you need to report to the same nodal centre where your documents have verified and fill up a withdraw form.
Candidates will get account payee cheque after deduction of the necessary fee.
Step 6: Final Allotment of Seats
Final allotment letter will be downloaded from the official website of OJEE.
Step 7: Reporting at the Allotted Institute
This is the final stage where candidates need to report to their allotted institute along with a printed copy of downloaded allotment letter.
List of Documents Necessary during Documents Verification Procedure
Please find below the list of documents you must keep with you during documents verification procedure:
- OJEE, JEE Main, NEET rank card or MAT/ CAT/XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/GATE/ GPAT/ NIMCET score;
- Registration slip;
- Class 12th mark sheet and passing certificate;
- Date of Birth proof (HSC or any other necessary certificate);
- SLC/CLC;
- Residential certificate;
- Income certificate for TFW category applicants;
- Category certificate;
