Eligibility Criteria for Odisha ITI Admission 2022

- Candidates should have attained the minimum age of 14 years
- There will be no upper age criteria
Educational qualification
Interested candidates seeking admission to Orissa ITI trades should have passed in 8th standards of High School Examination or Annual High School Examination of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha or its equivalent examination.
Odisha ITI Admission 2022 Application Form
Interested and eligible candidates can obtain the common application form (CAF) from the official website. An applicant can apply to any trade of any Government ITIs of the Odisha State in single form. More than one application received from the same candidate will not be considered. Candidates have to fill the required details as asked in the application form correctly. To fill the online application form, candidates have to logging on to the official website link i.e. www.dheodisha.gov.in. It should be noted down; the application of the candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria will be given preference before the selection committee.
Selection Criteria
The selection of candidates will be done after considered various factors. The basic principles of selection are listed below:
- Marks obtained in 10th class examination, weightage and reservation (if applicable) will also be taken into account while preparing the merit list.
- Applicants having higher education will be given special weightage at the time of selection.
- The course choice can be allotted as per choice given in the application form and the availability of seats.
- SC/ST candidates selected for admission on merit basis will not be considered against reserved seats. Such candidates will be treated as general category candidate for admission, but their social category will remain unaffected.
- No seats will remain occupied for any category beyond the prescribed date of admission.
