In order to become eligible for admission to NIT Rourkela in PhD programme you must need to fulfill the criteria specified below:
- Candidates should have completed M.Tech/M.E/M.Pharm in any discipline from a recognized university. Or,
- Candidates should have completed B.Tech / B.E /B.Pharm /MCA or its equivalent in related discipline with securing a CGPA of 7.0 or 65% marks in aggregate. Or,
- Candidates should have secured 65% marks or CGPA of 7.0 in M.Sc with Basic science. Or,
- Candidates should have secured 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in M.B.B.S/B.V.Sc. Or,
- Candidates who have completed MBA / M.A /M.Com/M. Sc in Humanities, Management or Social Sciences are also eligible to apply for the exam.
