NIT B.Tech Admissions at NIT, Karnataka 2021

Eligibility

NIT offering B.Tech courses in Chemical Engineering, 9. Metallurgical  & Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer EngineeringElectrical and  Electronics Engineering,  Metallurgical  & Materials Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information  Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering. The admission to the B.Tech Courses are on the basis of entrance exam scores they attained from JEE main (previously known as AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam)) entrance exam conducted by the C.B.S.C board New Delhi. Also, the institute suggesting that the applicant must obtain at least 60% in their intermediate test. Half of the seats are reserved for the candidates belonging from Karnataka and rest of the half seats are reserved for the candidates belonging from other regions of India. 10 % of total seats in the Undergraduate Graduate courses are reserved for the foreign candidates under the Direct Admission of Student Abroad (DASA) Scheme. DASA is an independent organization working under the Ministry of HRD Government Of India. Admission of the foreign students is determined from the scores they earned in Mathematics, Physics, and chemistry.

The candidates who were scored a good Grade in Entrance exam are will be considered for final round Face to face Interview with the senior faculties of the concerned departments. The selected candidates names will be publish after that.

NIT M.Tech /M.C.A Admissions at NIT, Karnataka 2021

Eligibility

NIT, Karnataka, offering admissions to various engineering departments on the Basis of Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering (GATE) conducted by the Indian Institute Of Technology. A pass in an engineering discipline with at least 50% marks is eligible for attending GATE examination. And for MCA, the candidate have to sit for entrance exam NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) conducted jointly by the NIT’s of India.

Admissions

Admissions of the candidates are on the basis of the performance they showcased in the written examination and face to face interview secession.

NIT Karnataka PhD admissions 2021

Eligibility

The admissions to PhD courses In NIT Karnataka is allotted only on merit basis.  In order to apply the exam, the candidate must have any one of the following qualification.

6. M.Tech./ M.E./ M. Arch/ M. Pham in relevant discipline at a minimum of 6.5 CCGPA Or 60 % overall  mark percentage in M.E/M.Tech from a recognized university approved by the UGC and AICTE.

7. B.Tech/ B.E./ MCA/ B. Arch/ B. Pharm in relevant discipline at a minimum of 7.5 CCGPA or 70% mark in B. Tech/ B.E./ MCA/ B. Arch/ B. Pharm from a recognized university approved by the UGC.

• MSc./ M. Com./ MBA/ PGDBM/ PGDM/ MA/ MBBS/ BDS in relevant discipline at a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks from a recognized institute/University approved by UGC.

1. CA/ ICWAI/ CS along with a graduation degree in any discipline with at a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent in aggregate.

Admissions

Admissions of the candidates to PhD in NIT, Karnataka is on the basis of their entrance exam scores. Based on the exam scores, the institute will calls on the short listed candidates for a final round Interview.
