Eligibility criteria

Aspirants who are seeking admission to B.Ed courses at LN Mithila University must satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The details of LN Mithila University B.Ed admission 2023 eligibility criteria for distance and regular mode programmes are furnished below:

For B.Ed Distance course:

Candidates with following categories can apply for B.Ed regular programme admission.

• Applicants who have done Graduation/Post-Graduation with minimum of 50% marks can apply
• An Untrained teacher or trained in-service teachers in Elementary education are also eligible to apply.
• Applicants who have passed NCTE recognized teacher education program through regular mode may apply.

For B.Ed (Regular) Program

• Applicants, who score a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and/ or Master’s Degree with specializations in Social Sciences/ Sciences/Humanity may eligible to apply.
• Candidates having Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology in Science and Mathematics scoring 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification are eligible to apply.

Reservation Criteria

The seat reservation and relaxation in the qualifying marks for reserved and other categories will be as per the policies of the Government of Bihar.

Aspirants can obtain the LNMU B.Ed admission 2023 application form from the official website of university i.e. www.lnmu.ac.in and www.ddelnmu.ac.in. A common application form for distance and regular B.Ed admission will also be attached to the brochure.

Candidates are needed to send the duly filled in application form along with necessary fee Rs.1000/- which should be paid through e-challan of Central Bank of India only at the office of “The Dean, Students’ Welfare LN Mithila University, Kameshwarnagar, Darbhanga – 846004”

Candidates must submit the admission form before due date either by the in person or via registered post/speed post/courier.

Admit card

Candidates who applied for the entrance test can download their admit card/Hall Tickets from the university website i.e. www.lnmu.ac.in and www.ddelnmu.ac.in from a week before the commencement of Entrance Test. Candidates with a valid admit card will be allowed to appear in the entrance test.

LN Mithila University B.Ed Exam Pattern 2023

The paper will consist of 120 objective type questions from five different sections. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be rewarded to the candidate. The duration given to complete the exam is 2 hours. The distributions of questions in each section along with marks are provided below:

Selection process

The University will organize a common entrance test for admission to the B.Ed (Regular & Distance) programme. The admission will be offered on the basis of the merit in the CET. Directorate reserves the right to cancel the admission of the candidate at any point if found ineligible.
