Kerala Polytechnic 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before applying for the Kerala Polytechnic Admission process.
Only Indian Citizens will be eligible to apply.
Candidates must be from the state of Kerala and have a domicile certificate.
Applicant must have cleared SSLC/ THSLC or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Science, and English as compulsory subjects from any recognized school/institute in Kerala.
Kerala Polytechnic Application Form
Interested and eligible candidates must submit the application form on or before the due date. The Department of Technical Education Polytechnic, Kerala will release the admission application form in online mode only.

Kerala Polytechnic Admission Process
The Kerala Polytechnic admission procedure will be conducted by the DTE Kerala for admission to various technical, and non-technical diploma courses. The admission process will be held online mode after the announcement of the rank link.
The admission process will include the stages like Online application submission, determining the candidate’s merit through 10th & 12th scores, making choices for courses and institutes, seat allotment, and document verification.
After the allotment of seats, students will have to report to their allotted institute to confirm their admission by paying the required admission fee.
Kerala Polytechnic Rank List
The DTE, Kerala will announce the provisional rank list of candidates most likely in August 2024. The rank list will be released in PDF format in online mode only. The rank list will be prepared by the authority for shortlisting the eligible candidates for the diploma admission process.
The rank will be decided by the authority based on the merit of candidates from the previous qualifying examination. The rank list will include the name of selected candidates for the admission process. In case of discrepancies with the published rank list, candidates will be allowed to challenge it.
After considering all the challenges from the students, the authority will release an updated final rank list. Based on this final rank list, the candidates will get admission to the various private and government polytechnic colleges in Kerala.
Kerala Polytechnic Counselling 2024
The process of counselling and seat allotment process will be commenced in September 2024. The counselling process will be held online mode only. It will be conducted in multiple rounds.
Selected candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be considered eligible to appear in the counselling process organized by the DTE, Kerala. Candidates can fill in their choice for diploma courses and institutes at the time of counselling.
Seats will be allotted among the candidates based on their choice of course/institute and merit. After the allocation of seats, the selected candidates will have to represent the following list of original documents for the verification process.
