Eligibility Criteria for JUET 2022
Candidates, who are planning to appear in JUET 2022, must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria as follows:
- For Masters Degree (excluding M.Phil and Ph.D), Bachelor Degree (LLB), B.Lib.I.Sc, and B.P.Ed: Candidates should have done graduation with science, commerce, Arts or Business administration
- Applicants should have done 2 years of degree course by following the 10+1+3 or 10+2+2 pattern. Moreover, they should have done one year of duration bridge course consisting Part III of B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA
- Applicants must have completed three years of professional degree course obtaining minimum of 40% of marks (36% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
- Applicants who do not belong to territorial of the Jammu University but scored at least 60% of marks BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com/BBA/ BCA can also apply.
JUET 2022 Application Form: How to apply?
Applicants will be needed to apply online only through the official website www.juet.in
Fill the form carefully with correct details. Once you’ve submitted JUET Entrance application form, the system will generate a challan form pre-printed with the applicant’s details. The candidates are needed to remit a requisite fee at any of the selected Branches of the Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd close to their through offline mode.
The candidates are recommended to surely collect a hard copy of JUET-2022 information booklet from the J&K Bank Ltd. at the time of payment of necessary fee. On remittance of the mandatory application fee through computer generated challan, the online application process will be over.
Application Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs.650/- (for General Category) and Rs.550/- (for candidates from SC/ST/ST (Leh & Kargil)). The candidate who are desirous to be considered under self financing seats has to submit additional Rs.550/- along with the necessary Entrance Fee
Payment Mode: Candidates can pay application fee through Jammu & Kashmir Bank Challan.
Examination Pattern
There will be two question papers for JUET 2022, one for PG and the other for UG Courses. The test will comprise of 150 Objective Type Questions for 150 marks. Each correct answer will be rewarded with one mark and the duration for the entrance exam will be 2½ hours i.e. 150 minutes. The exam will contain questions from the following sections:
- General English – 40 questions
- Reasoning – 40 questions
- General Knowledge – 40 questions
- Numerical Ability – 30 questions
There will be also negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer given by candidate. The candidates, who obtain less than 30% marks (for general category) and 25% (for SC/ST category) will not be considered eligible for admission. The following weightage will be given to the applicants:
- Academic Merit – 75%
- Entrance Test – 25%
JUET-2022 will consist of two question papers, one for the students appearing after 12th class and other for the applicants appearing after graduation.
JUET 2022 Admit card
Candidates will be allowed to download their respective admit card from the official website of university as per the scheduled date. Candidates need to visit the official website and need to enter their registration number for downloading their admit cards.
