PSTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
For primary teacher:
- The candidate must pass the senior secondary or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks and have done any of the following:
- Passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- Passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
- Passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
- The candidate with at least 45% marks in Senior Secondary (or equivalent) exam and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 can apply. OR
- Those with a graduate degree and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible.
For upper primary teacher:
- The candidates with graduation degree and who have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) can apply. OR
- Those who have done graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) / 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) are considered eligible too. OR
- The candidate should have done their graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
- The applicants should pass the Senior Secondary (or equivalent) exam with at least 50% marks and pass (or appearing in final year) 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
PSTET Application Form 2022
Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the PSTET 2022 can fill the application form. The application form will be made available on the official website. Before the candidate can fill the form, he/she will need to provide their basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth and mobile number for the purpose of registration. After that, the candidate can start filling out the application form. A registration fee of Rs 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) will also to be submitted. If you are applying for both paper I & II then you have to pay Rs. 1200/- (Rs.600/- for SC/ST/PH). The ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee. The candidate is supposed to take out the printout of the completely filled application form.

PSTET Admit Card 2022
The admit card for PSTET 2022 will be released online by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab. By entering their registration number and password, the candidates will be able to see and download their admit card. This admit card must be carried with the candidate to the exam center on the day of the exam.
PSTET 2022 Result
After the successful commencement of the examination, the result PSTET 2022 will be announced. The candidates can check their results from the official website by entering their roll number and registration number. The candidates who clear the examination will be considered eligible to gain the teacher eligibility certificate.
