Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) is going to announce Assistant Administrative Officer cutoff for the year 2022-2023. Expected month of releasing LIC AAO result 2022 is July 2022. The actual date for publishing AAO result is yet to be announced. We’ll update the post when LIC AAO cutoff varies from year to year as it depends upon several factors including:
- How tough the question paper was?
- Marks scored by most of the applicants;
- Number of candidates appeared in the exam;
- Number of available seats;
Candidates who have obtained the required qualifying marks in LIC AAO exam they will be further invited to attend the pre-medical examination. After completion of the pre-medical examination, they will be given a final appointment.
Important Highlights
- In order to become eligible for the final appointment, candidates are required to perform well in the exam separately as well as in aggregate. Candidates, who scored the notified cutoff marks, they will be only permitted to appear for the personal interview.
- The Life Corporation of India is responsible to decide and intimate the cutoff of a particular year.
- There will be different cutoff range released for General/OBC and VI/OH/SC/ST/OH/VI category candidates.
- Based on the candidates’ performance in the written exam they will be further invited to attend the interview.
- Candidates should keep in their mind that the marks scored by them in the qualifying exam will not be considered for merit list preparation.

Types of Cutoff Released by LIC
LIC releases AAO cutoff for online exam, interview and final. We have explained the stages below in the post:
Prelims Cutoff
The cutoff for online test will be published by the authority along with result. Candidates who have scored equal or more than the cutoff they are shortlisted for further stages of exam.
Mains Cutoff
The Mains cutoff will be decided by the concerned authority after completion of stages of exam. Based on the cutoff, candidates who achieved equal or more than the cutoff, are shortlisted for next round i.e. interview.
Interview Cutoff
Candidates, who scored equal or more than the cutoff marks, are eligible to get the letter of appointment.
Final Cutoff
Upon completion of the Interview process, LIC will release the final cutoff by calculating the average marks scored in mains and interview. Shortlisted candidates would be provided an appointment letter.
