Uttrakhand PCSJ 2022: Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria

Uttrakhand PCSJ 2022: Candidates, who want to give wings to their career thru the profession in the field of law, can apply for the Uttrakhand PCS judicial examination. Uttrakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) invites applications from the eligible candidates to apply for the PCSJ examination to fill the various vacancies of judges in the subordinate courts of districts in the state of Uttrakhand. The commission notifies the official notification on its portal once in a year.

Candidates, who have completed their bachelor level education in law, can apply for the PCS Judicial service examination through the application form. Here, candidates can find all the details about the Uttrakhand PCS Judicial service examination, application form, eligibility criteria, selection process and the important dates etc.

Uttrakhand PCSJ 2022 Application Form

Uttrakhand PCSJ Application Form will be available on the official website of the Uttrakhand Public service commission’s website https://ukpsconline.in/. Candidates can fill the application form as according to the guidelines given in the following points:

  • The application form will be available on the official portal of the commission.
  • In the application form, candidates will provide all the relevant information such as their name, address and the communication details of the mobile number and the valid email
  • Candidates will also upload the scanned photograph of passport size and the signature of the prescribed format in the application form.

Uttrakhand PCSJ 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The details of the Uttarakhand PCS judicial service eligibility criteria for the posts of civil judges will be as given below:

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates must have the domicile of Uttrakhand in order to take the benefits of reservation.
  • Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s of law from a University established by law in Uttarakhand or by other University of India recognized for this purpose by the Governor.
  • They must possess a thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri script.
  • Basic knowledge of Computer Operation.
  • The age of applicants must lie between 22 years and 35 years. It means candidates should not be born before 2nd January 1988 and after 1st January 2001.
  • There will be relaxation in age for the candidates of the reserved
  • The age relaxation for the candidates of SC and ST category will be of 5 years.
  • The relaxation in the upper age of the applicants of the OBC category will be of 3 years.

Uttrakhand PCSJ 2022 Exam Pattern

There will be three stages of the examination process. The first stage f the examination will be of Preliminary examination. The second stage will be the Main examination and the last but not the least part of the examination process is the interview.

Details of the Preliminary examination

  • The first stage of the examination will be of Preliminary examination and it will be comprised of two question papers.
  • There will be a question paper of general knowledge of 50 marks.
  • The second question paper will be of law (subjective knowledge) of 150 marks
  • Both the question paper will be objective nature and they will have multiple choice questions. 

Details of the Main examination

There will be seven question papers in the main examination including the interview assessment also and the details of all the question papers are given in the following points and table:

  • The main examination will be of descriptive nature and candidates will write the answers to the questions asked in the examination.
  • There will be no specific pattern or the syllabus of the interview assessment test. The interview will be conducted by the board of specialists and it will be an oral conversation where candidates will be asked the questions related to the current scenarios and how the law can be strengthened.

Uttrakhand PCSJ 2022 Admit Card

  • The PCSJ Admit Card will be available on the official part of the commission.
  • Candidates will be issued the admit card after the submission of the application
  • There will be separate admit card for the preliminary and main examinations.
  • Candidates will have to download the admit card from the official portal and they will take the admit card with them at the time of commencement of the examination.
  • The admit card will have the details of the dates and venue of the examination. 

Uttrakhand PCSJ 2022 Result

  • Lastly, the Uttrakhand Public Service Commission will announce the result of the examination.
  • Candidates will get the result of the preliminary examination.
  • After qualifying the preliminary examination, candidates will be invited to appear in the main examination.
  • After qualifying the main examination, there will be an interview of all the successful candidates.
  • In the last, after the interview assessment is done by the board, successful candidates will get the final result of the examination and thus will get the invitation letter for the training process.
