Kerala Civil Services Exam 2022: Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) officially announces the notification for the Kerala Civil Services Exam every year to select the eligible contenders for the various posts in the administrative, police and revenue and many other departments of the state. The vacancies which are filled thru this examination are of class-I and all the eligible candidates can apply for the examination to begin a brightening career in bureaucracy. Candidates, who have completed their bachelor level education from a recognized institute, can apply for the examination as according to the guidelines provided in this post.

Candidates will be appointed as Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner (C.T.), Deputy Superintendent of Police,  and District Registrar and other Group – 1 Service in the sort of State Government’ departments after qualifying the examination. Kerala Civil Services Application Form 2022

All the eligible candidates can fill and submit the application form online. Candidates can fill the application form as according to the guidelines given here;

  • The application form will be available on the official website.
  • Candidates will have to fill all the necessary details in the application form such as the name, address and other communication details such as phone number and valid email ID.
  • Along with that, candidates will also provide the details of the educational qualification as what percentage of marks they have got in the bachelor programme.
  • Hereafter, candidates also need to upload the scanned photo & signature in the application form.
  • Thereafter, candidates will pay the application fee thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.
  • It will be also necessary for the applicants to take a printout of the application for future reference.

Kerala Civil Services Eligibility Criteria

There are some eligibility criteria which every applicant must fulfill to be eligible to apply for the

‘Kerala Civil Services Examination’.

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • He must have completed the graduation or any other equivalent three years’ degree from a recognized institute.
  • The age of the applicants should not be less than 21 years and should not exceed 28 years.
  • The candidates of reserved categories will get 3 years relaxation in the upper age.

Kerala Civil Services Exam Pattern

There will be three parts of the examination and candidates have to qualify each part of the examination. Here are the details about all the stages of the Kerala Civil Services Exam Pattern.

Preliminary Examination

The pre-exam will be comprised of the questions from the topics as given here.

Details of the Part –V Exam

  • There will be a question paper of ‘Data Appreciation, Problem Solving, and Essay Writing’.
  • The time duration of the question paper will be 1 hour.
  • The total marks of the question paper will be 50.

Medium of language to answer the questions

  • Candidates are to answer the questions either in English or in the Regional Languages, viz, Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada.
  • Candidates need to answer the question in the same medium throughout the exam.

Kerala Civil Services Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of performance of the candidates in all the three examinations.

  • The pre-exam will be the first stage of the examination and it will just of qualifying nature.
  • After the pre-examination, candidates can appear for the main examination.
  • The main exam will be written or of descriptive nature.

Kerala Civil Services Admit Card 2022

  • Candidates will download the admit card for the pre-examination first after the submission of the application form.
  • There will be separate admit cards for the separate level of examination.
  • It will be necessary for all the applicants to bring the admit card at the examination center or else candidate’s candidature will be canceled.
