JNV lateral entry test 2021: Application Form, Result Important Dates

JNV lateral entry test 2021: Applications will be invited for admission to Class IX of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of the District. The admission will conduct through an All India Test in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the district concerned.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have studied and pursuing in class VIII in one of the Govt. /Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is running and where admission is required.
• Candidates should qualify Class VIII from a Govt. /Govt. recognized school in the district where they are seeking admission.
• Applicants should not have been born before 01.05.2004 and after 30.04.2008.

Application Form: How to Apply?

The interested and eligible candidates can obtain the Prospectus-cum-Application form free of cost from the Office of Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and office of District and Block Education Officers of the District. The JNV lateral Entry Application forms will also be downloaded from official website of the authority i.e. http://www.nvshq.org. Completely filled Application form are required to be submitted at office of Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned district before due date either through Registered Post or in person.

Admit Card

Candidates admit card for admission Test will be issued a week before the exam date tentatively. If the candidate does not get the Admission Card, he/she should contact the office of the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for getting the same.

Examination Pattern

The entrance exam will be objective and descriptive type with duration of 3 hours.

The medium of entrance exam will be English/Hindi.

The exam will consist of questions from four sections English, Hindi, Maths and science. Each section contains different marks as shown below.

Result

Result of the admission exam will be declared in the Vidyalaya Notice Boardand also published in the official website of JNV. Selected applicants will also be informed by post.
