JIIT PGET 2021– Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Post Graduate Entrance Test is conducted every year for candidates seeking admission to M.Tech programme at JIIT. GATE qualified candidates can directly appear in counselling process for admission to the respective programme. Name of institutes participating in this exam are JUIT Waknaghat, JIIT Noida and JUET Guna.

Eligibility Criteria
Programme-wise eligibility criteria is mentioned below, please have a look:
M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering
B.E/B.Tech programme in IT/CSE
M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with specialty in Communication Systems
B.E/B.Tech programme in Electronics & Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with specialization in Micro Electronics Systems & Embedded Technology
B.E/B.Tech programme in EEE/ EE/ ECE/ IT/ CS/ Instrumentation. Candidates having M.Sc degree in Physics with Electronics are also permitted to apply.
M.Tech in Applied and Computational Mathematics
Candidates having Master degree in Applied Mathematics/ Mathematics/ Statistics / Computer Science/ Operations Research with 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA are permitted to apply.
M.Tech in Biotechnology
Candidates having MBBS, B.Pharm, B.VSc, Master degree in Life science, B.Tech in BI/BT and Bachelors degree in Life Sciences are permitted to apply.
M.Tech in Information& Technology and Entrepreneurship
Aspirants having MCA, B.Tech (CSE/IT), B.Tech (ECE), MSc (Computer Science) degree with 60% marks are permitted to apply.
M.Tech in Materials Science & Engineering
Candidates having M.Sc. degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics or B.E/B.Tech qualification are permitted to apply.
How to Apply for JIIT PGET 2021?
Interested and eligible aspirants can fill up their form in online as well as offline mode. Prescribed fees for the application is Rs. 1000/- which can be paid either through cash payment, online payment or demand draft in favour of of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, at Noida/ Delhi.
Procedure to Apply in Online Mode
- There will be separate online application form GATE qualified candidates & JIIT PGET aspirants.
- Application form in the recommended format will be accessible from its official website.
- Once you get the form fill up all necessary details as asked in the form.
- Now make the payment of application either in online mode or through demand draft.
- In case you are making payment through demand draft then related details must be mentioned in the form.
- Finally hard copy of the application form along with demand needs to be sent to the address furnished below:

Procedure to Apply in Offline Mode
From Where You Need to Obtain the Form:
- You can obtain the form in person through cash payment from Registrar, JIIT, A-10, Sector-62, Noida-201307. Or,
- You can download it from the official website.
Procedure
- Candidates need to fill up the offline application form by their own handwriting.
- You need to affix photograph of prescribed size in the space provided in the form.
- Now attach all necessary documents and send your form to the address given below:

Exam Pattern
- Test duration- Two hours
- Type of questions- Only objective type
- Total number of questions- 50
- Marks given for every correct answer- Two marks
- Total marks of the question paper- 100
- Negative marking scheme- applicable
Admit Card
Download your admit card from the official portal and bring the same while coming to the examination centre along with a valid identity proof. Dates of uploading admit card will be intimated to you through this post.
Counselling Process
- Candidates having valid GATE score will be called first for attending the counselling process. Seats will be allocated to them according to their GATE score and preferences given by them.
- If seats are vacant that will be filled by JIIT PGET 2021 qualified candidates
