IRMA stands for Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). It is one of the best colleges in India that offers FPRM and PGDRM courses. IRMA 2022 Eligibility Criteria
It is compulsory for all candidates to make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria are different for various courses as given below.
For FPRM course:
- Candidates must have completed a PG degree or an equivalent degree/ diploma from a recognized university with first division. A relaxation of 5% marks will be given to students from SC/ ST/ OBC-NC/ Differently Abled Person Categories.
- Those candidates who are expecting to complete the final exams of the PG degree course by 1st July 2022 are also eligible.
- Aspirants also need to have a valid score in any of the following tests in the previous five years – CAT/XAT, GMAT/GRE, UGC-JRF/NET, CSIR-JRF/NET, ICAR-SRF, ICAR/ASRB-NET, GATE.
- Applicants having PGDRM from IRMA along with PGP any of the IIMs (including Agri-Business Management) are exempted from the above qualifying tests.
For PGDRM course:
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 15 years of education (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized university/ institute.
- Aspirants must also have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation (45% for SC/ ST/ Differently Abled Person).
- Students who are in their final year of graduation can also apply if they are expecting to complete graduation before 1st July 2022.
IRMA 2022 Application Form
Those eligible candidates who are looking to apply need to fill and submit the application form in online mode. To begin the process of application, aspirants have to visit the official website. Please note that it is compulsory for all candidates to have a valid email ID and phone number. The complete process of application is explained below.
- To begin the process of application form submission, candidates are required to register by providing the email address and mobile numbers.
- Once registered, candidates will receive an auto-generated password on their email ID.
- Next, candidates have to sign-in to the official website and access the main application form.
- In the main application form, aspirants have to provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
- The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, the application form can get rejected.
- Along with the details, aspirants have to upload scanned images of the photograph and signature.
- In addition to the details, aspirants are required to upload scanned images of their OBC/ SC/ ST/ DAP certificate on the application form.
- After submitting the application form, candidates also need to pay the required application fee.
- It is recommended that candidates should keep a copy of the application form submitted and fee receipt.

Mode of payment: A candidate can pay the application fee online using a credit card/ debit card/ internet banking.
IRMA 2022 Admit Card
- Once the application form submission gets over, institutes will release the admit card online.
- Details such as examination date, venue address, timing, etc. will be mentioned on the admit card.
- It is mandatory for all candidates to ensure that they carry an admit card along with one photo ID proof.
- No candidate will be allowed to take the examination without an admit card and ID proof.
- It is recommended that candidates should keep the admit card safe even after the examination.
IRMA 2022 Exam Pattern
The examination pattern of the IRMASAT 2022 examination is explained below.

IRMA 2022 Result
- Those aspirants who will appear for the entrance exam will be able to check the IRMSAT result through the official website.

- Only those candidates will be allowed to participate in the next round of the selection process who will score more than IRMASAT cut marks.

IRMA Selection Process 2022
The selection process of IRMA is different for various courses as given below.
For FPRM course
- The institute will consider various factors such as academic qualification, test scores, research proposal, and reservation, etc. in order to shortlist the applications received.
- Selected candidates will then be required to appear for the interview and give their presentation on the research proposal.
- At the time of interview, the selection team will focus on determining qualities of candidates like research aptitude, subject knowledge, clarity, analytical abilities, general personality and perseverance, etc.
- The admission team will further shortlist candidates by organizing a short written test in order to assess analytical and communication abilities of candidates.
For PGDRM course
In order to select candidates for admission to PGDRM, IRMA will choose and invite candidates in the following ways.
- Merit-based calls: The general category candidates will be selected for IRMASAT, GA, and PI processes who will score more than 85 percentile in CAT 2021 or XAT 2021.
- Profile cum merit-based calls: The general category candidates will be shortlisted for IRMASAT, GA, and PI process who will secure more than 80 percentile in CAT 2021 or XAT 2021.
Other key factors in order to get selected under profile-cum-merit based calls are.
- Excellence: Aspirants should have completed graduation from a top university or college.
- Work Experience: Candidates with work experience in Development Sector, Dairy, Public Policy, etc. will be preferred.
- Graduation in social science: Aspirants with graduation in the following field will be preferred Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public policy, Sustainability, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology.
