The Indian Law Institute will be conducting the ILICAT 2022 with the aim to select candidates for admissions into it’s master’s and doctorate degree programmes. The candidates can apply for admissions into Ph.D. in Law and 1-year LLM courses on the basis of this entrance exam (subject to their eligibility). ILICAT Eligibility Criteria 2022
The minimum eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by the candidates aspiring to apply for ILICAT 2022 is given as:
- Ph.D. in Law: An applicant holding LL.M. Degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks is eligible.
- LLM.: LL.B. Degree with not less than 50% marks from any University/ Institution recognized by Bar Council of India or Association of Indian University Guidelines (for those who have done law from a foreign university) is required.
- PG Diploma: Those with a graduate degree from a recognized University can apply. For PG Diploma in Labour Laws the minimum requirement is LL.B/ M.A. in Social Sciences (II Division).
- Online Certificate Courses: The candidate should have done diploma or degree in any stream after 10+2.
Note: A relaxation of 5% to the SC/ ST/ PH candidates and of 10% to Kashmiri Migrant students will be given in the qualifying marks
ILICAT Application Form 2022
ILICAT application form 2022 is now available on the official website and the candidates can fill and submit their application in online mode. The details such as name, category, address, email id, contact number, educational qualification, etc will be asked in the application form. The candidates will also have to upload their photograph, signature or any other relevant documents as required into their application form. The duly-filled application form can then be submitted along with the requisite application fee.
Application fee:
The application fee can be paid using Net banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.
- For D. in Law: Rs. 3000/-
- For M.: Rs. 2500/-
- For PG Diploma: 2000/-. Candidates willing to apply for more than one PG Diploma courses will have to pay a separate application fee.

ILICAT Admit Card 2022
The candidates will be able to download the admit card for the entrance exam by logging into their account. The ILICAT 2022 admit card will only be available in online mode. The admit card will be made available around 3-4 days before the commencement of test. After downloading, the applicant should take printout of the admit card to be carried to the exam center. The candidate must retain their admit card till the whole process of admission is over.
ILICAT 2022 Result
The result of the written exam conducted by the Institute will be announced in online mode. The ILICAT result 2022 will be declared around 15 days after the examination and the candidates will be able to see their result by visiting the official website. The candidates who qualify the written test will be shortlisted for personal interview/ viva-voce. The final selection will be done on the basis of combined performance in written test and personal interview/ viva-voce.
