Indian Institute of Science Education & Research is the respective authority that conducts IISER exam every year. It is a national-level exam organized for admission to BS & BS-MS Dual Degree courses. The IISER scores are accepted by various IISER i.e., Kolkata, Bhopal, Mohali, Thirivananthpuram, Pune, Tirupati & Berhampur.

IISER Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates must check the IISER exam eligibility criteria before appearing in the exam. The details regarding IISER Aptitude eligibility criteria are given below.
Indian nationals or PIO or OCI card holders can apply through KVPY or JEE (Advanced) or IAT channels. Foreign nationals will be eligible to apply through JEE Advanced channel only.
Applicants should have done Class 12th or equivalent exam with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category) with science discipline from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE.
Candidates having KVPY Fellowship Awards and JEE Advanced 2024 within the 15000 common rank list will be eligible to apply. Such candidates are exempted to appear for IAT.
IISER 2024 Application Form
IISER aptitude test 2024 registration will be commenced tentatively in April 2024 for IAT & KVPY channels. The application form will be available in online mode only.
Candidates should visit the official website to register online. They need to provide basic details like contact number, email id, etc. Once the registration is over, candidates need to fill the details as asked in the application form.
Candidates are advised to fill in all the required details carefully and correctly.
Upload the scanned images of documents like photograph & signature in the given dimensions.
Make the payment of the application fee through online mode using credit card/debit card.

IISER Syllabus 2024
The syllabus for IISER 2024 will be generally followed by the NCERT syllabus for 11th and 12th class. Some of the important topics for the IISER syllabus are provided below.

IISER Admit Card
The admit card for IISER will be announced online mode only. It is expected that the admit card will be available in June 2024. The Admit card will comprise important details related to the exam such as the name of the candidates, exam date and time, examination venue, roll number etc.
Applicants should carry their IISER hall ticket 2024 to the examination centre on the day of the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination centre without having a valid admit card and id proof.
IISER Result 2024
The authority will announce the IISER result online most likely in June 2024. Candidates can download their results by using login credentials such as application number or date of birth. The result will be published for different channels (IAT, KVPY & JEE Advanced) separately.
Based on candidate’s score, a separate merit list will be published by the authority for all three channels. Candidates are advised to take the printout of the result and keep it safe for the admission process.
IISER Counselling 2024
Qualified candidates will be invited for IISER counselling as per their merit rank. Seat allotment will be done at the time of counselling process. Selected candidates can download their call letters online from the official website.
The process of counselling will be commenced in July 2024. Final admission will be based on various factors including availability of seats at each IISER, candidate’s IAT/ JEE Advanced/ KVPY rank, preference filled by the applicants, and category. Candidates need to pay the admission fee to freeze their seats at IISER’s.

FAQs
Candidates must have cleared Class XII (or equivalent) examination in a science discipline.
There will be no age limit to apply for IISER.
Admission will be made through the following three channels.
Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology Channel.
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Channel.
IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) Channel
The highest salary package offered is Rs 5 LPA.
Candidates can appear two times only in his/ her entire lifetime for IISER.
