Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with obtaining 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from a recognized university. They should have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level. OR,
- Sc. (IT)/ BCA/B. Sc. (Computer Science)/any graduate with the computer along with obtaining a minimum 50% mark (45% for SC/ST) from a recognized university.
Age Limit
Upper age for candidates seeking admission to MCA programme is 26 years for General category (29 years for SC/ST and 28 years for girl applicants).
HPU MCA Application Form 2022: How to apply?
Candidates are instructed to keep the following list of documents/information ready before they start applying online:
- Recent photograph (scanned copy): Maximum size should be 50 KB.
- Signature (Maximum size should be 50 KB)- Applicants need to sign on white paper with black ink.
- Email ID
- Mobile Number- Candidates not having their mobile number can enter their parent’s mobile number.
Instructions to Apply
- Click the “Register Now” button available at home page of HPU.
- Provide all information as asked in the form.
- Upload your photograph and signature.
- Make a payment of necessary application fee.
- Download confirmation page.
Mode of Payment of Application Fee
The application fee can be paid by using debit card/credit card/net banking/challan.
Submit Your Application Form
Finally, candidates need to submit a printout of their application form along with the photocopy of payment receipt after getting signed it by guardian/parent to the address mentioned below:

HPU MCA Entrance Test Pattern 2022
- There will be only one question paper of 130 marks in the exam.
- Two hours of time will be given to candidates for solving the question paper.
- The medium of instruction will be English only.
- Contents of the question paper are as follows:
General logical ability & aptitude: 40 Marks
Basics of Computers and its Awareness: 25 Marks
Mathematics of +2 level: 50 Marks
General English: 15 marks
Admit Card
Admit card for appearing in HPU MCA entrance test will be uploaded in the month of May 2022 by following the websites i.e. www.hpucs.ac.in or www.hpuniv.in. A direct link will be also updated here once admit card gets published at its official web portal.
Result
Date of publishing HPU MCA entrance exam 2022 hasn’t been announced yet. However, it is expected that the university will announce the result probably in the month of June 2022. All successful candidates will be further called to attend the counselling process.
Counselling Procedure
Counselling procedure is going to be held at the H.P. University campus. Details regarding results, merit list and counselling will be updated here in this post. The authority will not send result cards and separate notification regarding counselling to candidates. While coming to attend the counselling procedure candidates need to bring all the original testimonials including 10+2 & graduation related certificates, bonafide resident, Date of Birth (DOB) certificate, proof of only child who is a girl, category proof etc.
