Himachal Pradesh ITI Admission 2024: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Dates

Applications will be invited by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board for admissions of the candidates into ITI courses. Admissions will be granted into the different government/ Private Industrial Training Institutes situated in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their marks in class 10^th exam.

Application Form

• The application form for Himachal Pradesh ITI 2024 admission will be released in online mode on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board www.hptechboard.com.
• Using their basic details such as name, date of birth, email address, phone number, etc, the candidates will be able to fill their application form.
• Candidates will also have to upload their photograph into the application form.
• Choice for trade and institute also needs to be provided at the time of filling the application form.
• The applicants must take care while filling the application as any incorrect information can lead to its rejection.
• After providing all the details into the application form, the candidates can take its printout and keep it safe for future use.
• The duly-filled application form can then be submitted along with the required application fee.

Application fee

• Application fee for general candidates will be Rs. 350/- and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.
• Payment of application fee can be done online via net banking or offline through challan.

Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates for HP ITI admission 2024:

Age limit: The minimum age of the candidates as on 1^st August 2024 should be 14 years. There is no maximum age limit.

Physical fitness: Candidates should be physically and medically fit to carry all the physical work related to their trade.

Admission Procedure

• A merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of their marks scored in call 10^th or 12^th (as applicable).
• Candidates whose names appear in the list will be invited to take part in the counseling round. Counseling will be held in three different rounds.
• Before the commencement of counseling, the candidates will be allowed to make any changes in the choice provided in the application form.
• Documents and eligibility of the candidates will be verified at the time of counseling process.
• Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their names in the merit list, choice provided by them and availability of seats.
• Selected candidates will then have to report to the allotted institute to complete the admission formalities.
• In case seats remain vacant after third round of counseling is over, spot counseling will be conducted.
