Haryana Polytechnic 2023: Directorate of Technical Education Haryana will release online application for Haryana Polytechnic 2023 admission most likely in the 2nd week of June 2023. The admission notification will be released soon for all Diploma courses- Diploma Engineering, Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry) and Diploma Pharmacy for the academic 2023-24. Admissions to Diploma courses in Haryana are offered on the following basis:
- Diploma Engineering including HGST, KM, MAR, SDB, TFW and EWSs categories: Based on merit of Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying examination.
- Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry) including TFW and EWSs category: Based on inter-se-merit/rank prepared on the basis of percentage of Qualifying Examination.
- Diploma Pharmacy including MAR, TFW and EWSs category: Based on inter-se-merit/rank prepared on the basis of percentage of Qualifying Examination.

- Qualifying exam– Candidates should have passed class 10th/SSC exam
- Percentage- Candidates should have obtained 35% marks (33% for SC/ST/Kashmiri Migrants) at the qualifying exam.
Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry)

Diploma Pharmacy
Entry Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other recognized board/ university.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed any of the following qualifications from a recognized board/university with pass in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics:
- First year of the three years degree courses in science
- Intermediate exam in Science
- Regular 10+2 exam only in science academic stream
- 12 years Higher Secondary Education Board Exam (Science academic stream with Chemistry, Physics, Biology) of Higher Secondary Education Board, Nepal
- Pre-degree exam., or
- Other qualification as approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination.
Haryana Polytechnic 2023 Application Form
Haryana Polytechnic 2023 online application form will be released at www.onlinetesthry.gov.in. The Directorate of Technical Education Haryana neither releases nor accepts offline application in any case.
While filling the online application form, it is compulsory to choose the course as Diploma Engineering, Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry) and Diploma Pharmacy course and category as HGST/ KM/ MAR/ SDB/ TFW/ EWSs.
After choosing the course, you’ll need to enter details like your name, father name, date of birth, category, resident of Haryana, income, economically weaker category etc in online application form.
After filling all particulars in online application form, you’ll be required to upload your coloured photograph (JPG, JPEG File Max. 30KB Size) and signature (JPG, JPEG File Max. 20KB Size).

Haryana polytechnic 2023 admissions would be based on the following criteria:

Haryana Polytechnic 2023 Counselling Process
There are two Online Counselings will be organized for providing admission to Diploma courses in all the seats of Govt. / Govt. Aided and 75% seats of Self Financing Institutes:
1st Counseling – It will be held for all categories AIC, HOGC, HGST, SC, SC-D, BC-A, BC-B, PH, ESM (with all priorities) and FF of all categories with 25% Horizontal Female reservation
2nd Counseling – It will be done for all categories namely AIC, HOGC, HGST, SC (by merging SC and SC-D in SC), BC (by merging BCA and BCB in BC), PH, ESM (by merging all priorities) and FF with 25% Horizontal Female reservation.
After the result of 1st and 2nd counselling is published, candidates can download their provisional allotment letter from website https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, he/she can deposit the token fee online and report online to the allotted institute.
Token fees for Diploma Engg., Diploma Pharmacy and Diploma Engg. Lateral Entry Course:
- 2000/- for girl candidates of the Govt./ Aided polytechnics.
- 2500/- for boys candidates of the Govt./ Aided polytechnics.
- 10000/- for boys/ girls candidates of the Self Financing Institutions
Important Documents to be verified online by the allotted institute
- Haryana Residence Certificate (If candidate has not passed qualifying exam from the School situated in Haryana).
- Annual Parental Income Certificate from all sources, in case of BCA, BCB and TFW Categories.
- Category Certificate i.e. SC/ SCD/ BCA/ BCB/ ESM/ FF/PH etc., if applicable.
- Income and Asset certificate for EWSs category as per Annexure-XX, if applicable.
- In case of HGST category in Diploma Engg., candidates shall produce a certificate in the support of their claim from the Principal/ Headmaster of the Govt. School of which the candidate is topper clearly stating the strength of class (attach the attested form available at Anexxure –XIII).
- In case of Kashmiri Migrants, supporting certificates and original certificate of migration duly signed by the competent authority or Relief Commissioner should be uploaded.
