About
Gokhale Education Society’s Arts & Commerce College was established in the June 1983 and is affiliated to University of Mumbai. His highness Shrimant Raje Yashwantrao Mukane Maharaj of Jawhar state donated land for college building which is surrounded by dense vegetation. The college was inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Dr. G.B. Sardar well known educationalist & owes a great deal to the inspiration provided by Shri. H. G. Alias Bhausaheb Vartak, the Chairman of the society who played a great role in revolutionalizing the life of Adivasis of thane district.
