The Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) is responsible for organizing the FTII JET exam every year. It is a national-level entrance exam for admission to various PG diploma courses of Television wing & Film wings institutes.
A Joint Entrance Test (JET) is organized by the FTII, Pune, and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata to select the applicants for admission to Film Wing, and Television Wing. Through JET admission will be offered in courses like Editing, sound designing and recording, Direction & Screen-Play Writing, production design, Cinematography etc.

FTII JET Eligibility Criteria

FTII JET Application Form 2024
The authority will release the FTII JET 2024 application form in online mode most likely in January 2024. Interested and eligible candidates must fill out the application form within the prescribed schedule.
Before filling out the application form, candidates will have to complete the online registration process by entering details like name, contact number, email id etc.
Thereafter, candidates should log in to the application page and fill out the asked details carefully and correctly.
Candidates have to upload the passport size photograph & signature as per the given parameters. Review the duly filled application form before the final submission.
Make the payment of the required application fee online mode. Candidates should take the printout of the application form for future reference.

FTII JET Syllabus 2024
The syllabus of FTII JET will be different for every course. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus completely and prepare for the exam accordingly. The syllabus of FTII JET Part 1 will cover important topics such as Art & craft of Film & TV, Literature, Allied Arts, General Awareness, General Knowledge related to Art & Culture and Media, Environmental Awareness etc.
Paper II is subjective and it comprises long descriptive questions, sketches photographs etc., and short note questions based on the subject.
FTII JET Admit Card 2024
The authority will release the admit card for FTII JET 2024 via online mode only. The FTII JET hall ticket will be available most likely in March 2024. Candidates who registered for the exam can download the admit card from the official website by providing their login credentials.
The Admit card will comprise the details like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, examination venue, etc. It is an important document to carry while appearing at the examination centre on exam day.
FTII JET Result 2024
The FTII JET result will be announced online tentatively in April 2024. To download the FTII JET scorecard, candidates need to visit the official website of FTII and provide their login credentials. A merit list will be prepared by the authority based on the candidate’s scores obtained in FTII JET 2024.
Qualified candidates will be invited for the second round of admission i.e., interview/audition as per their merit rank. After that, a new list of selected candidates for admission to various courses will be published on the official website of FTII.

Candidate must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university or equivalent.
The minimum age limit to apply for FTII JET is 21 years. There is no upper age limit for the exam.
