Indian candidates or overseas citizens of India with foreign medical degrees who wish to practice in India need to apply for FMGE 2024 (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination). There are two sessions of exams conducted in a year, one in June and the other in December. FMGE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in the FMGE 2024 exam are provided below:
- A citizen of India or an overseas citizen of India (OCI) is eligible to apply.
- The candidates should hold a primary medical qualification of an institution attested by the Indian Embassy to be a recognized qualification for enrollment as the medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated.
- The result of the final exam should have been declared on or before 30th April 2024.
- Candidates from the countries of Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the USA are exempted from appearing in FMGE.
- Candidates should possess with them the Eligibility Certificate (if applicable) and the Provisional Pass Certificate/ Degree Certificate of their Primary Medical Qualification duly attested by the Indian Embassy concerned.
Application Form for FMGE 2024
- The application form for FMGE 2024 will be made available through online mode on the official website www.natboard.edu.in.
- Candidates need to submit a registration form first by providing details like name, email id, phone number, etc, and generate a user id and password.
- Using these credentials, the candidate can obtain and start filling out the application form.
- In the application form, the candidates need to provide the rest personal, academic, and address details.
- Details of primary medical qualification, the status of issuance of Eligibility Certificate, etc will be asked in the form as well.
- Candidates should upload scanned copies of their photographs, signatures, thumb impressions, eligibility certificate, and degree certificate in the application form.
- After providing all the information in the application form, the candidates can submit it online with the prescribed application fee.
- The application fee is Rs. 7080/- and can be paid using a debit card/ credit card.
