PTU M.Tech Admission 2022: Candidates looking for applications for the PTU M.Tech Admission 2022 will be tentatively available from May 2022. It is organized by I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University for granting admissions to the M.Tech courses under its affiliated colleges/ institutes as well as those of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University, Bathinda. PTU M.Tech 2022 Admission will be done on the basis of the valid GATE scores. Non Gate candidates will be offered vacant seats based on their academic performance.

- Aspirants should have done B.E/B.Tech in their respective streams with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
- Applicants should have valid GATE scores.
- Non GATE candidates can also apply for the vacant seats after the first round.

Selection of candidate is made on the basis of their marks scored in GATE. Candidates should know that 85% of the seats are reserved for Punjab applicants and rest of 15% seats will be available to outside Punjab candidates.

Payment Process:
- First of all applicant should register an account at PTU website then choose the programme and provide requisite.
- Thereafter their log in ID and password will be generated automatically and they have to submit the fee as specified.
- Fee can be submitted via Cash or Online through Debit/Credit Cards or Net Banking.
- Candidate’s roll no will be generated after the successful submission of PTU M.Tech Admission fees which has to be further required to fill their application form after logging in.
- The log in details will also be sent through SMS/Email to the applicants.
How to Apply:
- Candidates can complete their Registration after submission of application fees which is Rs 2000/ course
- Applicants should provide their Roll No (Login ID), Gender, eligibility (Punjab or Other state), Sub category, Main category and Priority.
- They have to provide personal as well as academic details in order to complete the application form and submit the same.
Merit List:
PTU M.Tech Admission 2022 Merit list will be made on the basis of GATE marks scored by candidates. Applicants have to log in and check the Merit rank before proceeding towards their web options for counselling.

- Applicants should provide their preferred choices of programmes and colleges after logging in.
- The allotment of seat will be declared on the basis of the Merit rank that will be announced before counselling.
