Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must possess following eligibility conditions before applying for M.E Admission at PEC University of Technology.
- An applicant should hold a B.E. / B.Tech. Degree from an IIT / AICTE approved college/ a university recognized by UGC in the related stream.
- The candidate must score at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (5% relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Persons with disability category) in the qualifying degree
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply. Such candidates will be required to give a response that they would be submitting the original degree and detailed marks certificates in the specified date failing which their admission will be canceled.

Candidates are suggested to first read the admission brochure and instructions very carefully before applying for admission. Applicants seeking admission in particular programme are needed to register online on university official website i.e. http://pec.ac.in. Below we’ve prescribed step by step instructions for PEC University of Technology admission 2021.
- Register yourself by entering some details such as email address, name, phone number etc.
- On successful registration, a system generated username and password will appear on the screen. Keep this username and password safely for future use.
- Provide the educational qualification and details of the demand draft.
- The candidate has to upload the scanned images of Photograph and Signature in given format.
- The candidates are required to pay certain amount as required application form fee through demand draft in favor of “PEC University of Technology – PG Admissions” payable at Chandigarh.
- The applicants have to pick their choices of ME courses in order of their preference. They can pick as many choices from the list of available choices.
- After successful completion the registration form and choice filling, a confirmation page will be generated.
- The candidates must take the two printout copies of the confirmation page and send one copy of along with required documents and demand draft (in original) to following address via speed post/in person/registered post so as to reach by the given date.

- The university will not be accountable for any delay in the receiving of hard copy of the Registration Form.
- The candidates should keep one copy of the confirmation page with them for future use.
Admission process
The selection will be based on candidate’s merit. The inter-se merit of the students seeking admission to a particular M.E. course will be determined by their GATE score in the related GATE paper.
For Non-GATE applicants, the merit will be based on the Test to be conducted by the respective departments.
- In case of any tie, their qualifying degree merit will be given preference. In case the qualifying degree marks are not available, marks at last common level / seventh semester marks will be considered for the inter-se merit
- In case of students having the same score both in entrance test and qualifying degree, seniority in age will determine their inter-se merit.
