About DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology
DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology Jalandhar was established in 2001 which was founded with an objective to offer courses in engineering and technology. The institute has been approved by AICTE and also got the affiliation from the Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The institute is the first-degree level Engineering Institute started by the DAV College. The Institute is headquartered in the heart of thecity on a prime piece of land adjacent to DAV College, Jalandhar on the left side of Jalandhar-Amritsar National Highway. The institute is spread over an area measuring about 18 acres possessing extremely beautiful landscape with a running canal on its back and historical Burlton Park on its front.

DAV Institute Admission Process
- For admission into the BE/B.Tech. programmes, candidates must have at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of reserved category) with a Valid GATE score.
- Admission to MBA course, candidates admission made on the basis of valid rank in CMAT conducted by AICTE, New Delhi. In case seats are not being filled under respective categories, admission may be considered on the basis of inter see merit in qualifying examination.
