The board provides affiliations to all Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Jawahra Navodaya Vidyalayas, Private schools and most of the schools that are approved by the Central Government of India

Role of Central Board of Secondary Education at a Glance

 Central Board of Secondary Education examinations for class X and XII are executed every year in the Month of March. The results for examinations are declared by the end of May. The board also conducts JEE Main. The results can also be checked online. CBSE also conducts AIPMT for admission to major colleges of India. The board also conducts Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test and Class X optional proficiency test. In fact with NET conduction in the year 2014, CBSE has become the largest exam conducting body in the world. Syllabus for all the exams conducted is mentioned at the official site.
