IIT Bombay is responsible for conducting the CEED exam every year. The CEED (Common Entrance Exam for Design) is held for admission to M.Des (Master of Design) & Ph.D courses. The exam is organized with the motive to test the applicant’s ability for design involving drawing skills, visual perception ability, logical reasoning, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
With CEED scores, candidates will get admission to Master of Design at IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, IISc Bangalore, and Ph.D at various institutes. It is expected that IIT Bombay will release the CEED 2024 application form in September 2024.

CEED Eligibility Criteria 2024
Aspirants must satisfy the important eligibility criteria as prescribed by the conducting body before appearing in the exam.
Candidates who have done a degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree of a minimum 3 years (after 10+2) are eligible to apply.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have cleared GD Arts diploma (10+5) by July 2024 can also apply for CEED.
There will be no age bar to appear for CEED Exam 2024.
CEED Application Form 2024
The Application form for the CEED exam 2024 will be submitted online only from the CEED website. It is expected that IIT Bombay will release the application form in September 2023. Candidates will have to complete the registration form by entering details like name, email id, mobile number, date of birth etc.
Once the registration is done, fill in the rest of the application form including personal, educational qualifications, contact details etc. While filling out the form, candidates need to choose three test cities as per their preference.
They have to upload the required documents as per the given parameters. Candidates should verify the details carefully before final submission.
To complete the application process, candidates have to pay the necessary application fee.
CEED Application fee
All women candidates and candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will have to pay Rs 1800 as a necessary application fee while for all other candidates, the application fee is Rs 3600/-.

CEED Admit Card
Candidates who complete the online application process will be allowed to download the admit card from the CEED Website. The IIT Bombay will release the admit card most likely in December 2023. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to download CEED Hall tickets.
The admit card will comprise exam-related details like the candidate’s roll number, name, exam date & time, examination centre and other details. Candidates must bring CEED admit card along with a valid id proof while appearing at the exam.
CEED Result 2024
The authority will declare the results of CEED most likely in March 2024. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check the results online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. To download their CEED Scorecard 2024, the candidate needs to enter their application number & password. Download and take a printout of the scorecard for further reference.
