Calcutta University LLM Admission: 50% of the total seats available in Calcutta University are filled by B.A.LL.B (Hons.) candidates of this university whereas, to fill the rest 50% seats, an entrance exam is conducted. LLM programme is being offered by following list of institutions:

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for LLM programme at University of Calcutta, candidates should have obtained B.A.LL.B / B.A.LL.B (Hons.) / LL.B (Hons.)/ LL. degree either from this university or any other university recognized by this university.

How to Apply?

Candidates can obtain an application form from Calcutta University Sales Counter, College Street, Kolkata-700073 on all working days between 11 a.m to 3 p.m or the same can be also downloaded from official website i.e. www.caluniv.ac.in.

Application Fee

• For General category candidates: Rs.400/-
• For SC/PwD/ST/OBC category candidates: Rs.200/-

Exam Pattern

The entrance test will be of 100 marks out of which 60 marks questions will be MCQ type and rest 40 marks questions will be subjective. Upon completion of the exam, admission of candidates will be made through counselling process.

Admit card

Admit card will be issued to successfully registered candidates in online mode. We’ll notify you actual date of releasing admit card through this post.

Counselling Procedure

Counselling procedure is expected to be held in the month of February 2021. An applicant with only one guardian is allowed to enter at counselling centre only after production of valid LLM test admit card. Following documents are required to be produced during counselling process:

• LLM entrance test admit card;
• A LLB/LLB mark sheets and admit card;
• ST/SC/OBC-A/OBC-B certificate (in original);
• Photocopies of all documents mentioned above;
