Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to MBA course at the University of Calicut must fulfill the prescribed eligibility Criteria before applying for admission. Those who fail to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear in the admission process. The details of University of Calicut MBA admission 2022 eligibility criteria are provided below:
- Candidates having any degree of the University of Calicut (Including degree Programmes of the SDE / Open Degree course of SDE, University of Calicut) or that of any other University or Institute or Institution recognized by the UGC or AICTE are eligible to apply.
- Programs of other Universities /Institutions will be in 10+2+3 pattern (or 10+2+4) under regular stream
- In all the cases, the candidates must have cleared the bachelor degree exam with the minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, including the marks of the languages, if any. Candidates from OBC and SC/ST category are allowed relaxation in marks as per rules.
- A minimum 2 years’ work experience is needed for MBA evening program in addition to the other requirements. In the lack of sufficient number of candidates with 2 year’s experience, others would also be considered
- Applicants, who are awaiting their degree results, may also apply; provided they should produce the original mark sheet of the qualifying examination before the last date of closing of admission to MBA course.
- However, original along with Two/Pre-degree mark list must be produced for verification at the time of Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
University of Calicut MBA Admission 2022 Application Form: How to Apply?
- Candidates can apply online through the official website of university i.e. www.cuonline.ac.in
- Candidates need to remit the application fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.167/ for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) to the Calicut University Funds by SBT online/SBT E-Challan/ /Akshaya E-Challan/ friends.
- Select the reason “Application fee for MBA Admission 2022” while generating the Challan
- The applicants will send the print out of the application along with the original challan receipt and a self-addressed Rs.5/- stamped envelope directly to “The Head, Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Calicut University Campus, University of Calicut, Malappuram 673635” before the due date.
- Candidates are advised to note their online ID because it must be required for downloading admit cards.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates to MBA courses will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the CMAT organized by AICTE/KMAT Kerala conducted by ASC, Thiruvananthapuram along with weightage awarded for 12th and the marks scored by the applicants in Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Candidates have to obtain at least of 10% (7.5% for candidates from SC/ST category) for appearing in GD & PI round.
