BITS Pilani will invite applications to its two year on-campus M.E. / M.Pharm. Higher Degree (HD) programs for the academic session 2024-2025. The programs to be provided at Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa campuses of BITS Pilani.

BITS HD 2024 Application Form
BITS, Pilani will release the application form of BITS HD through online mode only. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website to fill out the application form. There will be no need to send any hard copy of the form to the officials.
While filling the BITS HD application form, applicants should give preferences for the courses in which they want to apply for. Fill the form with accurate details. GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are required to provide their GATE/GPAT Score details in the online form.
The completed application form along with the prescribed fee should be submitted on or before the due date. The application window will be closed most probably on April 2024.

Application fee for GATE/GPAT qualified candidates: Rs 1000/
BITS HD online application fee for all other candidates: Rs 3300/
BITS HD 2024 Exam pattern
The test will be conducted in online mode only at the dedicated exam centers in different cities of the country. The language of question paper will be in English only. For each correct answer 3 marks will be awarded while each wrong response has a negative marking of 1 mark.
Different phases of BITS HD exam are listed below:
Test 1
This test will consist of Core Mathematics with 15 questions and English Language Skills & Logical Reasoning for 15 questions. The duration of this test is 45 Minutes
Test 2
It is mandatory for candidates applying for all higher degree courses except for Sanitation Science, M.E. in Software systems and Technology and Management programs. This test consists of 70 questions and the duration of test is 105 mins.
Test for M.E. Sanitation Science, Technology and Management
It is specially designed for Sanitation Science, Technology and Management for those candidates who are willing to apply for M.E. Sanitation Science Technology and Management. The test contains a total of 60 questions to be completed in 50 minutes.
Test for Software Systems
Students who want to get admission in M.E. Software systems, are required to appear in this test. There would be a total of 60 questions with time duration of 50 minutes.
BITS HD Merit list
Admission to the HD courses will be done on the basis of merit only. The officials will prepare two separate lists for offering admission to the M.E. / M.Pharm. Programs. One merit list will be made on the basis of GATE/GPAT score, and the other based on BITS HD test scores.
Weightage of seats will be given equally in both merit lists. If the seat remains vacant in any of one category, it will be allotted to the other category. Final decision on this will be made by the Admissions Committee.
Admit card
BITS HD Hall ticket will be available online mode only. To get the admit card, candidates have to log in to the official portal of BITS Pilani. After that, you need to provide your application number, date of birth and email Id.
Candidates will be allowed to book their BITS HD time slot as per their choice. BITS HD slot and date booking will start from the first week of May 2024. BITS HD admit card is an important document to carry at examination centre. Without this, candidate will not be allowed to enter in examination hall.
Examination Centre
The BITS HD exam will be conducted in various cities across the country. A candidate will have to give three preferences for BITS HD test centre and he/she will be allocated one of the centers.

BITS HD Result
BITS HD Result will be declared on the online portal of the authority. The result will include the scores and qualifying status of the candidate. BITS HD result will also include an admit list and a waitlist. The shortlisted candidates will have to report at allotted institutes and while wait-list candidates will wait for the next round.
Counselling
A separate merit list will be prepared for the shortlisted candidates. The selected candidates will be called for BITS HD 2024 counselling on the basis of their merit. Document verification and seat allotment will be done during the process of counselling.
Thereafter, candidates will have to report to the allotted campus as per the schedule given in the allotment letter. Candidates should bring the required documents at the time of counselling including BITS HD Application Form, Admission Letter, 10th and 12th passing certificate etc.
