About the programme
It is a full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA-Agribusiness) of two years duration which is designed to offer an ideal Practical interaction with industries/institutions, learning environment, sufficient field revelation to enable the development of a strain of young enterprising agribusiness Professionals to fulfill the rising needs of the Industry.

Eligibility Criteria for Birsa Agriculture University MBA Agribusiness admission
Before applying admission to Birsa Agriculture University MBA admission, candidates must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria. Important eligibility conditions are as follows:
- Candidates, who have done Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Forestry, Dairy Technology, Horticulture, Home Science (from SAUs), Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Biological Science and Food Processing / Biotechnology, Technology, will be eligible to apply for the course.
- Candidates should have done the qualifying examination with obtaining a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories)
- Candidates having a good CAT score will be considered eligible and be excused from the written entrance test.
- Candidates, who are appearing for the qualifying examination, can also apply provided they should produce passing degree before Group Discussion and Interview.
Seats and Reservation Policy
There will be a total of 30 seats in MBA (Agribusiness) PG Degree Programme. Out of which 50% of seats will be reserved for the candidates having the domicile in Jharkhand. Reservation policy of the State Government will be applicable.
Birsa Agricultural University MBA Application Form: How to Apply?
Interested and eligible candidates can obtain the prescribed Application Form and Prospectus in person or by registered post (as per scheduled date and working hours) from the office of the Registrar, on the remittance of Rs.1000/- only in the form of bank draft from any nationalized bank, payable to Comptroller, Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke, Ranchi – 834006. The application form can also be downloaded from the university website i.e. www.baujharkhand.org and can be submitted along with the necessary application fee of Rs.1000/- in the form of bank draft as mentioned above on or before the due date.

Examination Pattern
The entrance test, personal interview, and group discussion will be organized for 200 marks.
- Written Test
The duration of the written exam will be two hours thirty minutes i.e. 150 minutes. The questions in the test will be asked from the five sections which are listed below:
- English Language Comprehension – 35 Marks
- Data Understanding & Ability – 35 Marks
- Mathematical Ability (X Standard CBSE Board) – 35 Marks
- Agriculture and Allied Sciences – 35 Marks

Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates for admission in Birsa Agricultural University MBA programme will be on the basis of All India Entrance Test which will be conducted by the University at its Centre.
