Through Assam ITI admission process, the eligible and interested candidates get admission into the Govt. ITIs of Assam for NCVT/Co-E trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC (SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsmen Training Scheme. Assam ITI 2023 Eligibility Criteria
It is mandatory for the candidates to satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before filling the Assam ITI Admission 2023 application form. Candidates can check some of the required eligibility norms below:
- Applicants should have qualified Entry Qualification Exam (class 8 or Class 10 any applicable for their opted trades.)
- Engineering Trade: Applicants should have completed the entry qualification examination with Mathematics & English.
- Non-Engineering Trade: The candidates should have cleared the entry qualification examination with English.
- The age of candidates must not be below 14 years as on the year of admission.

Assam ITI Application form 2023
The authority will release the applications for admission into the Govt. ITIs of Assam for NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT under IMC, SCVT trades, under Craftsmen Training Scheme for through online mode. The permanent residents of Assam access the application form most likely in the month of June 2023. To apply online, candidate need to visit the official website of the authority. Candidates need to provide all the required detairsuls as asked in the application form correctly. Submit the duly filled application before the due date.
Assam ITI 2023 Counselling Process
- To participate in the e-counselling, the selected candidates will have to register themselves on the counseling website i.e. www.itiassam.nic.in under the option New Registration.
- After providing the details, the candidate will take the printout of counselling form. Candidates should remember their password which filled during registration for further reference.
- Candidate will have to visit the nearest Govt. ITI for the document verification along with details filled during registration, as per scheduled dates.
- Applicants will be allowed to fill their choices only after document verification by the Govt. ITI.
- Note down, the registration will be one time process and it will be valid throughout the online counselling.
- In order to fill the choices, candidate has to login again by using Roll Number.
Seat reservation
There will be reservation for the different categories given by the officials. Seats will be reserved for following categories:

Seat allotment
Once the choice filling will be done, all filled choices of all registered applicants will be considered for allotment of seats as per merit & category of the candidate. It is completely provisional. If a seat is allotted, the candidate has to take printout of his allotment letter and need to visit the allotted Govt. ITI for accepting the admission. If a candidate is provided a seat and doesn’t take admission, then his/her candidature will be rejected for the entire admission process.
