ASRB NET 2022: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Dates

The Agriculture Scientists Recruitment Board will hold ASRB NET 2020, a combined Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and National Eligibility Test (NET-I) for appointment as a scientist in ARS of ICAR and to determine the eligibility for lecturer/assistant professor in the various agricultural universities through NET. The ARS exam will be conducted in 3 phases, preliminary, mains and Interviews respectively. Only those candidates can appear for mains exam who will qualify in the preliminary exam.

Candidates need to apply for the ASRB NET examination to be eligible for applying as a scientist in ARS or a lecturer/assistant professor in various colleges via NET Exam. ASRB NET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Read and understand minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in ASRB NET exam 2022:

For ARS 2021:

Age Limit: A candidate must be minimum 21 years old and should not be more than 32 years old as on 1^st January 2022.

Educational Qualification:

• A candidate must hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization.
• Candidates having Master’s degree from a foreign University must attach a certificate of equivalence and recognition of that degree issued by the UGC/ GOI / any other concerned Government of India /Department or Agency.

For NET (I) 2022:

Age Limit: A candidate must be minimum 21 years old as on 1^st January 2022. No maximum age limit applicable.

Educational Qualification:

• A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline and specialization completed on or before June 2022.

ASRB NET 2022 Application Form

Candidates can avail the application form for the ASRB NET Exam via online mode only. The application form can be filled by visiting the official website www.asrb.org.in. The form must be filled carefully as no change request in particulars will be allowed once the form is submitted by a candidate. Applicants need to pay a certain amount in form of application fee to submit the form successfully. Candidates should fill the form within the given time to avoid disappointment. In case of multiple applications, the latest application will be considered without refunding the amount for previously submitted applications. Candidates will also be required to upload the scanned copy of photograph & signature while filling the form. Applications received without payment will be rejected by the authorities.

ASRB NET 2022 Admit card

Candidates can download the admit card for ARS 2021 and NET 2022 through the official website. The admit card should be printed out and the copy should be preserved for further use. The Authority will not send the admit card to candidates via post or other means. Without the admit card, the entry to the exam hall will be denied to the candidates. A candidate also needs to bring a valid ID proof along with the admit card to take the exam.

ASRB NET 2022 Result

The result for ASRB NET examination can be checked by visiting the official website. The authority will publish the result in form of merit list. The merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the exam. The date of declaration of result of NET Examination will be the date of qualifying NET Examination. The candidates qualified in the exam will be issued a NET certificate and they will be able to apply for lectureship jobs in state agriculture universities and other agriculture universities.
