Minimum Educational Qualification
For appearing in this test candidates should have cleared 10+2 exam from Punjab School Education Board or its equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Punjabi University, Patiala, obtaining minimum 45% marks.
Age Criteria
Candidates not completing the age of 20 years as on 1st July, 2022 are only permitted to apply.
*Aspirants who have passed 10+2 via Open University system without holding any basic qualification are not permitted to apply for the test.
AILET 2022 Application Form
Please follow the procedure for submission of Online Application-cum-Admission Form mentioned below:
Step 1
- Access the official portal of AIL i.e. nludelhi.ac.in.
- Now hit the admission 2022 link.
- Now fill up your basic details such as candidates’ name, category, father’s name, date of birth, password, email ID and mobile number etc.
- Once you fill up and submit all mentioned information then Bank Pay-in-Slip will be automatically generated.
- Now you need to pay the required application fee as per your category.
- Once you deposit the fee, check out the fee receipt. Keep a printout of this receipt for future references.
Step II
- After depositing the fee, you again need to get access to the official website and click the link for Admission 2022.
- Now you need to enter AIL registration number and password and click the next button. After entering such information your application form will be accessible to you.
- Please keep scanned copy of passport size photograph with size (less than 120 KB), signature (less than 100 KB), bank receipt (less than 1.5 MB), 10th DMC (less than 1.5 MB) and Army category certificate, if necessary (less than 1.5 MB) before you start the application procedure.
Application Fee
The application fees are different for candidates from various categories as given below.
- General – Rs. 3050/-
- SC/ ST/ PwD – Rs. 1050/-
- SC/ ST (BPL) – Exempted
- Kashmiri Migrants/ Foreign Nationals – Rs. 3050/-
Mode of payment – Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card or internet banking. Please note that the application fee once paid cannot be refunded.
AIL Law Entrance Test 2022 Admit Card
- AIL Law Entrance Test 2022 admit card is expected to be released in the month of May 2022.
- Aspirants would be able to download their admit card by following the official website of the authority. You will be able to download the admit card by entering your registration ID and Password.
- An admit card will carry important information like date, time, and venue of the examination.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
- Along with the admit card, candidates also need to have at least one photo ID proof at the time of the examination.
AILET 2022 Exam Pattern

- The question paper will consist of four sections namely English, Logical Reasoning & Mental Ability, GK & Current Affairs and Legal Aptitude.
- Only objective type questions are asked in the test of 10+2 standard.

- Elementary Mathematics – Fundamental arithmetic skills are tested in this section. Questions will be based on basic mathematical concepts.

AILET 2022 Result and Admission Procedure
- The Official AILET Result 2022 will be declared online through the university website i.e. nludelhi.ac.in.
- Authorities will release the result in the online mode in PDF format.
- The result will carry information about the marks secured by candidates in the entrance test and Cut Off marks. Admission procedure will be done after the declaration of AIL Law entrance test 2022 result through counselling.
