Admission to the candidates into the post graduate law (LLM) course offered by the institutes of Andhra Pradesh will be given on the basis of AP PGLCET 2024. It is a state level entrance exam conducted online in the month of May 2024 (tentatively). Interested and eligible candidates can fill and submit their applications through online mode hopefully from the month of March 2024. All the candidates desirous of admission should appear necessarily for this exam. No other gateway is available for the same.

AP PGLCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled by the candidates hoping to appear for AP PGLCET 2024:
- Indian national candidates who also meet the local/ non-local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order can apply.
- The candidates need to complete their LLB/ BL degree with not less than 50% marks for OC candidates and 45% marks for BC/ SC/ ST candidates in aggregate.
- Those who will appear for the final year LLB/ BL degree exam in the year 2024 are eligible to apply too.
AP PGLCET 2024 Application Form
- Application process for AP PGLCET 2024 will be completely online and the candidates can fill and submit their application forms by visiting the official website www.sche.ap.gov.in.
- To obtain the application form, the candidates first need to fill a fee payment form and pay the prescribed application fee.
- After successful payment, a payment reference id will be generated that will be used to obtain the application form.
- In the application form, personal information of the candidates (other than the one provided in the fee payment form) will be asked.
- Details related to the education like class 10th, 12th and degree such as passing year, marks obtained, etc also need to be provided in the application form.
- Candidates are required to provide the choice for test city (two preferences) into the application form.
- After providing all the details into the application form, you can submit it online.
- Take a printout of the application form and keep it with you for future reference.
Application fee:
- Candidates applying for AP PGLCET 2024 need to pay Rs. 850/- as application fee.
- Online fee payment can be done using debit card/ credit card/ net banking and offline fee payment can be done via cash submitted at AP Online center.

AP PGLCET 2024 Admit Card
- Admit card to appear in the AP PGLCET 2024 will be published by the authorities on the official website.
- The admit card along with a printout of the filled in online application form should be carried to the exam center on the day of exam.
- Without these documents, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.
- Candidates can find important details related to the exam such as venue, date and time printed on the admit card.
- It is to note that no admit card will be sent to the candidates through the means of post, courier, etc.
AP PGLCET 2024 Result
- Candidates will be able to check their PGLCET result from the official website https://sche.ap.gov.in.
- On the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam, ranking will be given to the candidates and rank card will be generated.
- Candidates will be able to download their rank card from the website around one week after declaration of result.
- Counseling of the qualified candidates will be done as per their ranking.
AP PGLCET 2024 Counseling
- Based on their ranks, the candidates will be invited to attend the counseling round conducted a few weeks after result announcement.
- Details related to the counseling process will be communicated to the candidates from the official website.
- During the counseling, documents of the candidates will be verified and they will be asked for their choice for college.
- After successful verification of documents and eligibility, seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their ranking.
- Failure to attend the counseling round will lead to rejection of candidature.

Is it possible to make changes in the application form after its submission?
A correction window will be provided for making changes in the application form. Any editing in the submitted application form can be made only during this period.
I am not able to download my rank card. What can I do now?
In case of the having any problem in downloading the rank card, the candidates are suggested to contact the Convener’s office.
What is the minimum qualifying marks in PGLCET?
The qualifying marks in the entrance test is expected to be 25%. However, there will be no qualifying marks for SC/ ST candidates for ranking.

If I do not wish to appear for the exam, can I get a refund on the application fee?
